  • what?????yer going to put carpet in a bathroom???i dont think that would be a wise idea mr peek you will have mold within the first shower now tile around the shower and then carpet would be nice but yer doin a dandy job there mr peek keep up the good work

  • Dang! I'd just decided to go with tile, but after readin' your comment, we're going with the carpet! There! Take that! hahahahaah.

  • While I entertain little girls with my tongue, this video warms the campfire. Excuse my extensive use of idioms.

  • glass door before ceiling?

  • I was wonder how that gap was going to get filled. :)

  • I just love that door and how you made that fit.... AND the hinges and handle are fantastic!!

  • Rpeek, It is looking great. I see a lot of the country boy spirit of using what you have and not wasting money or product. The country boy can survive! Great job. Rich

  • Home and Garden wants to do a center-fold.

  • Do I have to get naked for that?

  • Very nice! good to see your getting it done! Are you doing the roof yourself?

  • Nope.. That's my big weakness.. I'm skeered of heights.. Going to pay my neighbor to do it..

  • looks good...but is the top part of the shower door bent a little? or is it just me?

  • Just you I guess.. It's not bent..

  • @rpeek lol oh

  • looking good. i also would not do carpet in bathroom. one overflowed toilet and its done, if the money isnt that tight can wire in an undertile electric heat and lay soem sort of tile.

  • Naw.. We like carpet.. Trish had it in her house for years. Never a problem.. I ain't skeered.. !

  • neither am I...!!!

  • Does you shower light have a exhaust fan and is this wet area sheet rock up above your shower with a special coating to prevent mold and deterioration to sheet rock? Thanks! 5*

  • Yes.. on the exhaust fan.. Yes on the special coated mold resistant sheet rock.. No on the wet area.. It's leaking around where the door closes.. Needs a touch more silicone..

  • Nice job! 5*

  • It's looking great!!

  • Thanks.! That room next door there's going to be your bedroom when you come up to visit..

  • lookin good bud,,but,,are ya sure ya wanna put carpet in the bathroom?,,,doesn't take long for a carpet to smell musty after its been in a damp area,,personally , i'd go with ceramic tile in the bathroom,,but thats just me.

  • don't know I'd go for ceramic in Maine bathrooms.. be freezing!

  • We're both aware that not everybody likes carpet.. We do.. It feels good on your feet on a cold mornin'.. After we croak off the next owners can do the tile thing.. hahaha..

  • most folks would....... we're kinda different that way... but we're in agreement! We both like carpet!

  • Gotta hand it to Trish. That blue with the white sink in front of it looks great. Just with the sheet rock, the rest of it is looking a lot better, too.

    Nice work.

  • Thanks, Ed....!!! It's pretty amazing to see it all closed in now!

  • Yea, she's a wonder to behold.... hahaha..
