This car is a 66 gt350h. Its even better in the flesh. One of the best examples of a Shelby ive seen.

Im still wonderin why his back up lights are the turn signals?? Never seen that before. The lower round lights on mine are the back up lights and the turn signals are built into the regular parking/brake lights.

We have really strict road laws here in Australia. Especially on classics. Sometimes we have to re wire turn/brake lights etc just to get them road legal. For example, on my '70 Cougar they don't allow sequential turn lights to be used. Don't worry, as soon as I got home I re-connected them ;)

Well, if its a '65 GT350H, he's got a '66 GT350 dash in it. Cus the 65 and 66 dashes were completely different. The tachs were built into the '65 dashboards, not the '66's tho. Just mounted on top as this one is. Still a way sweet car tho! Great choice of music too! Love them Beach Boys.

thats not a 65 its a 66 they didnt make shelby hertz cars in 65 and it cant be a hertz cuz it would have gold stripes

Sorry but you're wrong. The majority of the original hertz shelbys were black and gold, but they also came in red, white, blue, and green, without gold stripes.

the Gt-350H was made in all them colors "oranpure" said but they all had atleast the gold side stripes. this one has white side stripe and roof stripes but the side strips say the GT-350H on it(witch dont mean anythang. would like to see if it had the plack on the left finder under the hood.
