  • that cementery design is very creepy

  • Tuco was the real hero

  • best scene of the movie, no contest. one of the best scenes in movie history

  • Probably my favorite scene in all of cinema.

  • The greatest western movie EVER!!! Thumbs up if you agree.

  • Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone truly knew how to create moments of audio/visual genius. Could this be the greatest piece of music in the history of cinema? I'll never forget the shivers when I first watched this film and heard this.

  • I was lucky enough to see this movie on the big screen. My local arthouse cinema put it on. Fantastic. I took my gf, she hated westerns at the time. it opened her eyes!

  • Epic tune, Epic movie!

  • Tears in my Eyes...

  • Elli wallach was a captain in world war 2.

  • 1966 - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

    2011 - Cowboys & Aliens

WTF!? You'd think that the art of making movies developed, but shit is just about special effects, muscular dudes, big guns and bad bitches...

  • UNIQUE!!!

  • Can someone explain this for me i dont really see any poitn in this?

  • @sabbi6678 He finally found the grave site where $200,000 in gold was buried. He threw away his map then went searching for the grave where the gold was hidden.

  • @tubehows4life do i have to watch the movie to understand what you just said?

  • @tubehows4life Lol, well I'd recommend the movie anyway, so sure watch it, I wont spoil it for you any further ;). If you cant be assed to watch the movie though I'm sure Wiki describes the plot in full.

  • Epic music + Epic movie

  • Best scene ever. EVER.

  • @d3monschemes123 Agreed, although High Plains Drifter is also a classic.

  • That's my favorite scene.

I'm 19 and I saw it today with my father (54 years) and my brother (11 years), and we all enjoyed this movie. It still good even after so many years!

I have hope that, one day, someone will bring more good movies like this to us. I really have! Till that day, we'll appreciate classics like that.

  • @d3monschemes123

It is the best western ever made ;)

  • The most male orientated movie in history made me cry like a little girl... my god what an epic scene.

  • This should be played at everyone´s funeral

  • what can be more badass than this?

  • If Shakespeare, Einstein, Gandhi and the Pope created a movie scene...it would be this! Amazing!!!!

  • @darmok0514 that movie would be like 900 hours long

  • IM 23 AND LOVE THIS MOVIE,,,WHEN I WAS 3 YEARS OLD AS A CHILD MY FATHER WOULD LET THIS PLAY 3 TIMES A DAY TO KEEP ME QUEITE HA HA GREATEST WESTERN EVER

  • that thing that I always admire in those movies is that you don´t need to be a cute boy for an important characters like now days movies

  • @Crazyman1212

No greenscreen, it's all real. That's how you make movies...

  • ennio morricone e sençassional

  • BRILLIANT !

This is THE all time great movie scene ; the music, the photography, Tuco, the scenery, the West in all its glory

  • I have some of Tuco inside me

  • this music is epic. And it's perfect for intro of metallica's concert.

  • Comment removed

  • Great music, great movie. The guy in the clip still lives actually, he is 95 now or something, just great! First heard the music cause Metallica used it as introsong for their concerts in the early 90´s.

  • nicesest intro ever

  • 7 people dig

  • You could bake cookies to this song and feel bad-ass.

  • We need to hang 7 dislikes, and make sure the rope is tight, it needs to hold the weight of a pig!

  • Haunting sound, gives me chills. Beautiful in an odd sort of way.

  • Best movie music ever made, thank you Ennio Morricone

  • Sergio is a genius. You can see by looking at this scene:

The music is happy and beautiful, while thousands of graves are in the background.

The happy music represents Tuco's (the ugly) hope and ecstasy for reaching the money within the grave, a fantasy.

The graves represents the dead, the civil war that happens in the movie, bereaved families, sadness and the way life are wasted without an end, a reality.

  • Presto! Movie magic!

  • 7 people are the ugly :P

  • thats alot of prop graves

  • chase is better than the catch...

  • You could bake cookies to this song and feel badass.

  • Running in a graveyard to find a treasure. That's the way it is !

  • OMG THE MUSIC YES!!

  • Sincerely from my heart God bless you for uploading this , this scene in 1080hd and the music! i almost feel like crying. This is my best scene stretching to the shootout of any movie from any era

  • gives me chills :o epiiicc

  • Great song, great scene, great movie. Just a word: Epic!

  • I think there is a tuco inside every body

  • MetallicA !!!

  • Great film!!!

  • Amazing, amazing amazing!!

  • This is pure movie history. I remember being in complete awe when watching this scene for the first time. I doesn't get any better than this.

  • The best!!!

  • no big ass explosions, no half naked babe, no shitty dialogue, just art

  • @Kangaxx23 Well, there is the part where they blow up the bridge that the North and the South are fighting for control over, but I get your point.

  • EPIC!! one comment that I've seen is where they say TUCO runs like a sissy. Well, on his defense he is running like that because he is looking for the name on the grave, so he being tactful by using his hands and arms as a guide. If he ran fast and normal he would not be as successful; try it yourself...

  • Tuco run's like Scott from Austin Powers.

  • Runs like a Welshman. Doesn't he run like a Welshman?

  • Morricone could never have wrote a better score for this scene than he did..This remains a titan when it comes to individual pieces of music for short scenes.

  • Epic win is simply Epic win.

  • This movie together with "once upon a time in the west", are really one of my favo's.

  • This movie remains one of my all time favorites. Ennio Morricone was a true talent in every sense of the word. Interesting enough, check out the opera singer from this music elsewhere on Youtube. She has a set of "pipes" to perform her contributing part of this music. Wonderful movie, actors, director and of course, Ennio.

  • I h8 miracle whip

  • I'm pretty sure every single hair on my body was raised about 12 secons into this.

  • If you gotta shoot shoot, dont talk!

  • Tuco Benedicto Juan Maria Ramirez

    KNOWN AS "THE RAT"

this is the best movie ever,, thats it.

  • My dad loved this movie. Would watch it whenever it came on TV. Thanks, dad, for exposing me to the good stuff!

  • I have listened and seen this more than 1000 times but still felt new and always does gives goosebump

  • Why is >Speed (IMAX HD 1080p Trailer< allways the "Featured Video" when I watch this?

  • " Those who double crosses tuco, and leaves me alive, KNOWS NOTHING OF TUCO...."

  • That dog that appears out of nowhere...was that in the script ??? Because it's fucking awesome.

  • @belizarius1"During the scene right before the final duel where Tuco (Eli Wallach) is running frantically through the cemetery, a dog can be seen running on-screen at the beginning of the scene. In reality, that was improvised on the spot. Sergio Leone, who was afraid that the scene was going to slip into melodrama, released the dog without informing Eli Wallach first - thus, his look of surprise is quite genuine."

  • @McCall72 Man, that dog is running like it's life depends on it! Did Sergio threaten to send blondie after it?

  • awesome

  • I HAD AN EARGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they had constructed whole cemetery only for this film ..unbelievable..

  • @bwamellebwa

Jack Sparrow runs kinda like him.

  • I have always thought this scene was the most under rated. The giants of today could never have directed such a scene. This movie with Eli,Clint, and Lee will go down as maybe thee greatest western ever.

  • Best movie scene ever

  • ++++++ O.....My....God! ++++++

  • Beğenmeyen 7 yavşak var...

  • METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And of course, Morricone is a genius. No more.

  • amazing quality

  • @NoRestRS ye, cant belive they had this good cameras in 1966!

  • @vanhakaveri

I think they didn't think they just made the movie look better with modern technology.

kinda takes away the old feeling but I like it too :P

  • This song is fantastic too!! This video is very nice!! ----Greetings from Brazil!

  • METALLICA \m/

  • JACKASS 2!!!!!

  • It made me remember the beginning of french Metallica's show, with that video ! Such a good time !

  • Befere i watched this i had to watch an ad for IBIZA ANTHEMS i mean WTF!

THATS LIKE SHITTING ON THE POPE!

  • Was that really an ad right in the middle of the scene?!

  • Most. Epic. Song. Ever.

  • thumbs up if you saw Mettallica at Sonisphere and checked this out cause they showed it before they started playing ><

  • @kimbob5 they played it in quebec too right before the show tonight

  • How....How can a scene of a dude just running through a fucking graveyard be so....epic?

  • @Goku3388 ennio morricone's songs !!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Rayhuntter Derp. I told a joke about a movie I love and own. I'm an infantile....Seriously dude, get a sense of humour.

  • @Goku3388 without intonation this comment can mean a lot of thinks. i reconsidered it and deleted my comment as you see. sorry if offended. this is legendary song.

  • @Rayhuntter Damn right it is, if this were any other film without the music, this scene, nay, the whole movie would suck. Ennio is underrated.

  • @Goku3388 the movie is a perfect combination made by the first three geniouses mentioned in th top rated comment ;)

  • ....ans scene.

  • In the end of the video i expected creeping death or enter sandman to kick in!!! :)

  • Comment removed

  • @Sandiforty it was $200,000 in gold

  • Comment removed

  • @younghermainli20 thanks

  • @younghermainli20 $400,000 actually. He only got half because of Blondie, but he intended on taking it all...I would have too.

  • One of the best movie scenes ever (maybe the best, due to the music)

  • I LOVE TUCO

  • good

  • The only dislikes were from blind people trying to navigate the page

  • If you don't have any goose bumps while hearing this song you probably doesn't understand music. Long live Morricone!

  • No dead people were harmed in this video.

  • did u know that this guy is still alive ?

  • If you add this song to anything. LITERALLY ANYTHING in the known universe, it makes it at least 4 times as epic.

  • Best movie scene ever!

  • Bump if u listened in a MetallicA's concert!!

amazing song by the master ennio

  • It is this they are playing... (metallica)... I was to the big 4 yesterday...

But... The cannon fire in the start was played to the concert! XD

  • METALLICA

  • 1042 people are people with loaded guns and 7 people are those who dig.

  • how could you not like this. I was just a kid and I fell in love with this movie while watching it with my dad. I love the song. It brings me back to the first time I watched it, which was a priceless feeling...

  • if i were a heavy weight champion, this would be the music for my ring entrance :O

  • That piano kills me. Goosebumps every time without fail.

  • My favorite movie of all time. I watched this as a child and the feeling never died that I got from seeing it the first time. I think spent a months playing these characters from the movie. I never missed this movie when it came on. I think I went six years without seeing it between high school and college, and when I saw it again while in the Marines...it was still fucking epic.

  • Oh well...we're never going to see or hear anything like this again. Ever. Sh!t.

  • God i could spend days discussing this movie! :D The plot is so simple when you think about it but the way they execute it is what makes this movie the everlasting classic it is! ^^

  • @Fedorasnesguy you need to see a dr for that problem

  • The best movie....EVER!

  • @UFOFrenzy I'll drink to that mate, Fucking A I'll drink to that...

  • Looking for gold amidst so much death.. Way to nail the message Leone. I get it now.

  • Oh God the spinning Oo..... I love this movie

  • just one word fits: timeless!

  • He always reminded me of wario

  • HD is brilliant. Holy cow!

  • Epic scene, still gives goose bumps..... Eli Wallach is "the man".....and to those complaining about his running, give him a break. He was 50 when he did the movie...the oldest of the three main cast members...... Ecstasy of Gold.....pure genius.

  • @CaptDavyJones What? I think he's got a pretty good pace, regardless of his age :)

  • @CaptDavyJones I agree, the running fits his weird character tbh... And besides, doesn't "Captain Jack Sparrow" run like that? ;)

  • a film played in a cemetery *

  • @Totalwarbest Somewhere in the Spanish badlands, I think

  • @TheM4A1Clan thank you for your answer , but is it really a real cemetery? i mean a played in a cemetery...well i dont now.

  • @Totalwarbest It's not a real cemetery, soldiers from the spanish army created it in two days I read somewhere else. pretty incredible right?

  • @ritchthofen yeah incredible its not the word here :o but it had been very nice if it was a real cemetery :o

  • Sergio Leone

    Ennio Morricone

    Clint Eastwood

    Henry Fonda

    Terrence Hill

These are perfect team made in Heaven. They can never get any rival which will equal their legacy. If you think this is not true, do not thumbs up.
