I only recently discovered Sara Bareilles. I am impressed by how she can do something playful such as Love Song, and serious--Gravity--equally well.

She actually wrote this song after the record company told her she had to write a love song for her album-it was kind of a "screw you" to the record company. The lyrics make a lot more sense when you look at them from that angle.

I caught this performance on tv over two years ago, and LOVED it. I've been looking for this online ever since, and just found it tonight. So excited to see it again. Without a doubt, my favorite version of the tune. Sara has very quickly become my favorite female artist. You just can't listen to this and not groove along with it.
