I liked this commercial but there was another with same jingle but with more orchastrated music. I was told it was Chuck Mangione on his fluggle horn. The narrator talked about all the sights in the world and most of them rght here in our own back yard. i.e there are many canyons in the but only one they call GRAND
they still sell coke in glass bottles where i live but they stull do in most places right?they sell mexican coke here too that's coke without high fructose corn syrup,it's got pure sugar cane in it instead
this was before the fall of babylon..

at 0:16, is that Melissa Sue Anderson with the flute? She was Mary Ingalls on Little House on the Prarie

Huh, that's funny, because here (in communist part of the world in Europe these years) coke was only a legend..

There is a big difference, too. The soda made with pure cane sugar is sooo much better than with the high fructose corn syrup.

Haha. Moral of the commerical: Coke brings the world together.

This spot is of the campaign "Lookup America" of 1975 with the singer Aretha Franklin.
It's fantastic...
but this is the short version :(

Thanks for the comments... I double checked the date and this commercial aired in late 1974 (June-July timeframe). I'll update the title...

That was Diana Ross, taken from the closing scene of "LADY SINGS THE BLUES", not Aretha Franklin.
