sorry if this is a stupid question but i dont really use illusion magic often, in the description for whichever illusion spell ur using it says that it can be used on enemys up to level whatever, sooo how do u know the level of the enemy and can the spell work on them if they r higher than the level in the description
Who cares if the Dunmer are good for the class? Dark Elves are fucking badass! Who gives a shit about starting skills? You can easily balance out the starting skill bonuses with no effort, considering the bonuses are a max of 10 higher then starting.
Shizno, i love how they are just making fun of the way you talk... You should go to their videos and leave comments saying they sound like faggots.. who are we kidding, gay boys don't have youtube channels, haha jk... i love this build though, i used it for one of my first playthroughs, i barely ever had to fight anyone, just let them hurt eachother, then get the final blow. casting frenzy in town while your sneaking, then going invisible, is epic :)
Thats because gaming is a international fun and English is the international language, but not everyone is a native speaker. I sound a lot different in my lanugage, because we pronounce everything differently. We also have these letters--š,č,ť,ž,ý,á,í,é,ľ,ô,ä,ú,ň!
Dark elf is probably the worst race for this build, they have a +10 in archery and thats it, no sneak or anything. If you want the right race then choose Altmer because they have +10 to Illusion and they get a +50 bonus to magicka and the highborn ability which is needed because Illusion magic has quite high mana costs.
@GetThickSliced your stupid, Dark elves get 5 illusion,10 destruction, 5 light armor and sneak, 5 alchemy and alteration so iprobably it's the best class for a nightblade
@helghastprince Sorry I messed up the whole archery thing but still doesn't change the fact that dark elves are not exactly the best race for this class, altmer are..
@MisterShizno Yes but illusion spells don't exactly have the least mana cost, in fact they are some of the cost mana spells in the game, thus high elf is the best because of +50 mana and highborn ability plus the bonus to illusion.
Look man, I have spent 30 hours playing this build and I can tell you that dark elf is the perfect class. I have almost never had problems with mana consumption, because you dont spam those spells, but rather use them when you need them and that is usually to avoid being detected. This class is primarily stealth based and therefor dark elves win. In the footage I have been spaming it to show the use, but you see that I wasnt short on mana.
For some reason i decided to go argonian, they seemed to fit the role of a mage/assassin from an rpg point of view. Probably my favourite character so far
Buy, but you have to reach a certain skill level before you can use them... for example- you have to be level 75 in alteration to use paralysis (not sure)
Conjuration was pretty easy to level for me. Also fighting things are way easier, I play on expert and I only have 100hp. My conjured friends distract the enemy for me c:
And who wouldn't want to summon Ulfric Stormcloak\General Tullius to help you? :3
I think alteration is definately worth taking, as it provides more durability without making sneak more difficult because of armor. In addition to this, invisibility, while it does always dispel following an action, ends after you release a spell, which allows you to cast Mass Paralysis without leaving stealth for the substantial wind up on it (as it is a Master level spell).
None to be honest. I used robes most of the time because of all the magicka used, but you can try going for light armor if you play more offensively.
You can also try using light armor and a hood, because when you run out of magicka you can take off and put back on the hood quickly and it will give you maybe 30-50 magicka which is sometimes enough for a new spell, but it only works when your magicka is very low or almost empty.
I've heard the illusion perks stack? If so, does it also stack with the Necromage perk from the Restoration school? I know it affects undead 25% more.. But I'm not sure if it stacks.
@ZADER4427 I have personally went only for the damage one because I was able to avoid direct combat completely 90per cent of the time thanks to invisibility, calm and other illusion spells.
@danhutcherson I preffer dark elf because of stealth and magic bonuses. He can also set himself on fire which will help you in combat that you cant avoid at early levels.
Instead of investing in Conjuration, what I do is get a little bit out of my play style, and having fun just running right into combat with a dragon with a sword in one hand, and Stoneflesh on the other.
Well it may work at the early levels, but you would get slaughtered at level 50 or so since most dragons that would come are elders and sometimes ancient. And since we did not invest anything into armor it would make it so much more difficult.
@MisterShizno Then why not invest a little bit into Light Armor. At least get 5/5 in Agile Defender, then move to the other to perks to get Unhindered and for your Light Armor to weigh nothing.
Fucking love this guy. great accent and funny comments. "Killing the 3 of them, and it was a lot of fun. and i enjoyed it"

make sure you become a vampire, for the +25% effectiveness bonus of Illusion and Stealth.
Being Dunmer or Breton counters the +25% weakness to fire, so actually being one of those would be the best.
Not that it matters that much what race you are..
