Top Gears Stig rates the Civic Type R as the best hot hatch, so does the rest of the crew, "The best Hot hatch".
GTI is too boring, too many around, looks like any other golf, if you wanted a decent VW sports car, you would go the R32.

man face it...GTI is hotter. I know you're Honda's fan but well....thing change :)
Top gear voted for this car as the CAR of the year...so not just in hot hatch class!
Don't get me twisted..I'm not any ones fan...but I had chance to drive both of them and yes GTI is better. You wonna comment the style...the Civic looks like triangle made for teenagers. No class there at all! GTI is way more fun and gorwn!

well seeing as i am a teenager, seems like you have just given me the best option, u still didn't admit that there are so many around, and they do not look sporty, unlike the MK1 GTI, now that was, and still is a stunner
