Where did I mention people having hallucinations? Large groups of people mistake mundane phenomenon for 'UFOs' all the time. What are you considering 'solid evidence'? More eye-witnesses, including a fighter pilot? That's still eye-witness accounts, which are nearly always rejected for the reasons I described earlier, especially when those accounts coincide with little or no other evidence.
Why would you believe a stranger who happens to be a pilot but reject NASA? Wouldn't a strangers story be even harder to verify compared to NASAs observations of a tangible, Earth observable object?

Titan is very bland in the visible wavelength, it looks like a big tan colored orb from all angles. Iapetus, however, is very stunning in the visible wavelengths and we can learn more from those images, hence, the larger number of visible wavelength images. Most of Titan imagery exists other parts of the spectrum able to see through its clouds.
Because you fail to understand how it could be tested doesn't mean that it can't. Are you an astronomer? You are not in a position to say what is real or fake or what can or cannot be tested; you are clearly a layman. The Arecibo Observatory, for example, has made radar observations of Titan as well, they coincide with what Cassini has found. How much more verification do you need?
The data coming out of NASA is far and away more verifiable than any 'UFO' incident.
Thinking something doesn't change the facts. I just posted at least 4 images of Cassini approaching Titan, one very close to it's upper clouds. We know more about Titan that the other moons. I don't know how you can say there is a lack of material, you seem to ascribe a lack of visible wavelength imagery to malice; while ignoring the mountains of infrared, radioscopic, spectroscoptic, electromagnetic and even surface-probe related data.

Ok, if you really want to dumb it down to megapixels, consider this. In 1997 (when Cassini was made and launched) the best digi-cam at the time could capture 0.3 MP. If Cassini is capturing images that are 1000 x 1000 (1 MP) in size, that would make its images 3 times larger than the best digi-cam of its day.
It doesn't matter what todays capabilities are, the probe is 13 years old! This is the oversimplified version; not considering that space craft have many limits.
You've only exposed that you are blatantly ignoring evidence, and are coming off as incredibly obtuse in the process. Cassini is in orbit around Saturn, it has taken many picture of Titan along with its fellow Moons.
And another thing. How old do you think the probes are that are taking these images? How long does it take to get to the outer planets? And why do you think that would be relevant to your arbitrary 4000 by 4000 pixel image requirement? Have you ever considered that you might be holding decades old technology to modern day standards?
This correlation between pixel dimensions and authenticity is silly. Instruments on a probe 800 million miles away capable of piercing the atmosphere of Titan are not to be held to the same standard as photograph on Earth.
We have seen specular reflections on Titan,mapped almost it's entire surface with radar, we've captured composition, precipitation, weather patterns,sand dunes,rivers, lakes, craters. But you throw all that out because the pictures aren't big enough for you?!
I suggest that you peruse Titans wikipedia page and read up on past missions, clearly you are unfamiliar with just how much we do know about Titan. Pretty pictures are not the end all be all of evidence, hard observation from other instruments besides camera will often provide much more useful data.
We don't have any photos of the inner-workings of the sun, but we know a great deal about what's going on in there.

NASA is primarily interested in engaging in science, which does not alway produce public oriented data.

Turns out that this is exactly the way an infrared sensitive, multi-filter camera produces images, It does NOT produce true-color images and was never intended to. FreeMindSociety, you know that the blue patch is very reflective in the IR region. The filter used in the image is one of the IR filters. The false color is perfectly normal if you use the IR filtered image of the blue patch as the "blue" channel. Thinking in terms of spectra instead of "RGB" would make your false reasoning clear immediately.
Start using your brain. A parachute would not deploy 7 miles above the surface of Mars- it's nearly a complete vacuum- all the landings- Viking, Pathfinder, Spirit and Opportunity- are fake. Stars would be visible at midday from the surface. No way would the fakers be outside- this is all done in a sound-stage like Apollo. Conventional technology would be hard pressed to ever land on Mars- the amount of fuel for braking would be enormous. Sorry kids!
@hozayamz: The atmosphere on Mars extends higher that earth's atmosphere because of the lower gravity on mars. The atmosphere is a lot thinner but up to 30 km or higher there's still a considerable amount of CO2. Another specialty is that even the Aerosols reach up to those levels, different from earth's atmosphere where aerosols don't reach that high.
@hozayamz: Where are the stars? Not again, please. The sky on Mars is way too bright due to the aerosols, about one fifth to one eighth the brightness of the sky on earth. The only "star" we can see on earth at these brightness levels is the Venus.
A lot of the initial velocity of the descent modules was lost during aerobraking (from 19000 km/h to 1600 km/h), the parachutes slowed the modules down to ~400 km/h. The airbags and the three solid rocket motors in the aeroshell took care of the rest.
@hozayamz .6% of the atmospheric density on earth isn't near vacuum at all. It's the density of the atmosphere on earth at 35 km altitude. That's plenty to brake any flying object.

Geologists don't care so much about the actual color of the minerals but they do care about the chamical composition. And nothing is better (in the case of Pancam) than false color photos showing dust deposits or certain ferric oxides in green, blue or any color that makes those things distiguishable from the rest of the landscape.
@marsCubed: They all have the same materials. It's just the filters used for the images. The blue patches are photographed with IR filters which leads to false colors if these IR channels are used instead of blue. The rest of the colors is pretty accurate though because natural spectra tend to be very smooth - in contrast to the spectra of the pigments used for the calibration target, for example.
@marsCubed: Photoshopping is doomed to fail if used for multispectral photography which is incompatible to sRGB or AdobeRGB photo manipulation.
Spectral photography has to be dealt with in spectral domains, not in everyday use RGB color spaces. Most people don't understand spectral photography or spectral-to-RGB conversion procedures, that's why they think about Photoshop as some kind of forensic tool.
But owning a q-tip doesn't make you an expert on DNA analysis, in a figurative sense.
What you call tampering is pretty straightforward color correction. If you don't get the reason why the blue patches look different in some of the Pancam photos you should read some papers on the Pancam filters or the camera calibration. Your photoshopping only shows you didn't understand several important basics of colorimetry.
There will always be people that refuse to believe what people claim they have done, and this is just one of those cases. They'll probably find an answer to my following question too. Why would a company such as nasa, employ all those hundreds of smart people for research and development, and then just take a couple of pictures on earth and edit them with a $500 dollar photoshop?

@1ebihal - with respect the sky is believed to be blue mainly because red light is more difficult to scatter - the blue so to speak gets bounced around (or the other way round)... not a reflection of the sea, in any case. (There's another theory that gases in the sky fluoresce slightly)

I think the main reason for N.A.S.A. (Never A straight Answer) colorizing the photos they release to the public is really quite simple. Colorized photos make it extremely difficult to spot any kind of anomaly that might be present in any given photo, whereas true color photos tend to enhance the viewer's perception and scrutiny of their photographs. Remember, NASA isn't all that smart. They are simply afraid the general public may find something that they might have missed in their own analysis.

Just in my research from downloading the rover images from nasa, the atmosphere has been altered and purposely changed to this redish color. Once the photos are color corrected you get what appears more like earths atmosphere. It is my belief that is why 80% of the photos released to the public are gray scale. They know they messed up.

What are you considering 'solid evidence'? More eye-witnesses, including a fighter pilot? That's still eye-witness accounts, which are nearly always rejected for the reasons I described earlier, especially when those accounts coincide with little or no other evidence.

The only thing that's interesting is that you somehow think a lack of visible wavelength photos is indicative of something malicious.
Titan is very bland in the visible wavelength, it looks like a big tan colored orb from all angles. Iapetus, however, is very stunning in the visible wavelengths and we can learn more from those images, hence, the larger number of visible wavelength images. Most of Titan imagery exists other parts of the spectrum able to see through its clouds.

Because you fail to understand how it could be tested doesn't mean that it can't. Are you an astronomer? You are not in a position to say what is real or fake or what can or cannot be tested; you are clearly a layman. The Arecibo Observatory, for example, has made radar observations of Titan as well, they coincide with what Cassini has found. How much more verification do you need?
The data coming out of NASA is far and away more verifiable than any 'UFO' incident.

I don't know how you can say there is a lack of material, you seem to ascribe a lack of visible wavelength imagery to malice; while ignoring the mountains of infrared, radioscopic, spectroscoptic, electromagnetic and even surface-probe related data.

Ok, if you really want to dumb it down to megapixels, consider this. In 1997 (when Cassini was made and launched) the best digi-cam at the time could capture 0.3 MP. If Cassini is capturing images that are 1000 x 1000 (1 MP) in size, that would make its images 3 times larger than the best digi-cam of its day.
It doesn't matter what todays capabilities are, the probe is 13 years old! This is the oversimplified version; not considering that space craft have many limits.

This correlation between pixel dimensions and authenticity is silly. Instruments on a probe 800 million miles away capable of piercing the atmosphere of Titan are not to be held to the same standard as photograph on Earth.
We have seen specular reflections on Titan,mapped almost it's entire surface with radar, we've captured composition, precipitation, weather patterns,sand dunes,rivers, lakes, craters. But you throw all that out because the pictures aren't big enough for you?!

I suggest that you peruse Titans wikipedia page and read up on past missions, clearly you are unfamiliar with just how much we do know about Titan. Pretty pictures are not the end all be all of evidence, hard observation from other instruments besides camera will often provide much more useful data.
We don't have any photos of the inner-workings of the sun, but we know a great deal about what's going on in there.

Perhaps, maybe, it's because both Venus and Titan are veiled in an opaque layer of gas? We have high-res radar imagery of their surfaces, and wonderful true-color images of their outer atmosphere. We also have surface images for both, captured by robotic probes. What more do you expect? Just because YOU haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. NASA is primarily interested in engaging in science, which does not alway produce public oriented data.

FreeMindSociety, you know that the blue patch is very reflective in the IR region. The filter used in the image is one of the IR filters. The false color is perfectly normal if you use the IR filtered image of the blue patch as the "blue" channel. Thinking in terms of spectra instead of "RGB" would make your false reasoning clear immediately.

Start using your brain. A parachute would not deploy 7 miles above the surface of Mars- it's nearly a complete vacuum- all the landings- Viking, Pathfinder, Spirit and Opportunity- are fake. Stars would be visible at midday from the surface. No way would the fakers be outside- this is all done in a sound-stage like Apollo. Conventional technology would be hard pressed to ever land on Mars- the amount of fuel for braking would be enormous. Sorry kids!

@hozayamz: The atmosphere on Mars extends higher that earth's atmosphere because of the lower gravity on mars. The atmosphere is a lot thinner but up to 30 km or higher there's still a considerable amount of CO2. Another specialty is that even the Aerosols reach up to those levels, different from earth's atmosphere where aerosols don't reach that high.

@hozayamz: Where are the stars? Not again, please. The sky on Mars is way too bright due to the aerosols, about one fifth to one eighth the brightness of the sky on earth. The only "star" we can see on earth at these brightness levels is the Venus.
A lot of the initial velocity of the descent modules was lost during aerobraking (from 19000 km/h to 1600 km/h), the parachutes slowed the modules down to ~400 km/h. The airbags and the three solid rocket motors in the aeroshell took care of the rest.

Geologists don't care so much about the actual color of the minerals but they do care about the chamical composition. And nothing is better (in the case of Pancam) than false color photos showing dust deposits or certain ferric oxides in green, blue or any color that makes those things distiguishable from the rest of the landscape.

The blue patches are photographed with IR filters which leads to false colors if these IR channels are used instead of blue. The rest of the colors is pretty accurate though because natural spectra tend to be very smooth - in contrast to the spectra of the pigments used for the calibration target, for example.

@marsCubed: Photoshopping is doomed to fail if used for multispectral photography which is incompatible to sRGB or AdobeRGB photo manipulation.
Spectral photography has to be dealt with in spectral domains, not in everyday use RGB color spaces. Most people don't understand spectral photography or spectral-to-RGB conversion procedures, that's why they think about Photoshop as some kind of forensic tool.
But owning a q-tip doesn't make you an expert on DNA analysis, in a figurative sense.

If it's a scam? then who gives a crap really, yeah i'm only believing they went based on their photos, and to me that is good enough since they cannot prove it to us in any other way. It doesn't feel correct to me to ignor high quality evidence that they did go, so when these pics are proven to be 100% fake, only then.

That is very simple indeed. The past 40+ years the Moonlandings have been confirmed by thousands and thousands of third parties.
My neighbours visited Spitsbergen thirty years ago. I remember I saw some nice pictures of their trip. No stars, by the way. But no one I know has been there again. So I guess they faked it all.

Until we found the remains of Troy, Troy was a myth. Even though in the story
we were told that many people took part in the war and lived in the city.
So NASA's story is that they landed men on the moon. Now either we go back there to confirm, or its just made up story.

Its sounds as the lamest reason they gave for never taking photos of the stars(astronomical images) when on the moon. They said the apertures were not set to capture the starts.
You are going to the Friggin moon for Crying out loud.
You could have taken an extra camera!!
The All knowing NASA whom we assume would be too smart to do such a shabby photoshop job(it still beats me though). is too dumb to miss the greatest chance to shoot the sky from the moon. It would be a bigger step for astronomy

our sky on earth is blue because the ocean reflects on the sky .
Mars does not have an ocean , so if the sky is really blue it means the photos were made on earth

@1ebihal - with respect the sky is believed to be blue mainly because red light is more difficult to scatter - the blue so to speak gets bounced around (or the other way round)... not a reflection of the sea, in any case. (There's another theory that gases in the sky fluoresce slightly)

@1ebihal Actually the oceans look blue because of blue light coming down through the atmosphere. Nitrogen N2 in the atmosphere reflects blue light best.

I think the main reason for N.A.S.A. (Never A straight Answer) colorizing the photos they release to the public is really quite simple. Colorized photos make it extremely difficult to spot any kind of anomaly that might be present in any given photo, whereas true color photos tend to enhance the viewer's perception and scrutiny of their photographs. Remember, NASA isn't all that smart. They are simply afraid the general public may find something that they might have missed in their own analysis.

Other tasty delights include Nitrogen and Argon... then Oxygen. Trace elements of water and carbon dioxide "clouds" mixed with the major dust storms... all that red dirt in the atmosphere, or is it blue... And why did you change the sky to blue, but not all the rest of the rubbers and logos... edumakation is gud.

Anyone with a highschool education can understand their explanations, as they simplify everything for you, and they disprove every popular moon landing conspiracy.

Just in my research from downloading the rover images from nasa, the atmosphere has been altered and purposely changed to this redish color. Once the photos are color corrected you get what appears more like earths atmosphere. It is my belief that is why 80% of the photos released to the public are gray scale. They know they messed up.

They CERTAINLY had the ability to land men on the moon by 1969, they could have done it easily with all the funding they had for the apollo program. they even went to far as to hire private companies to design and build spacecraft that where worthy of the trip. They could have easily landed people there, but they didn't. Why?

Apollo 18, Apollo 19 and Apollo 20 were grounded to save money or six more astronauts would have been on the moon.

the video makes a valid point, an adobe photoshop would make the blue nasa logo brown.
The mission is no fake, but at the highest levels of nasa, i have no doubt, landing sites were chosen carefully, and photos released have been modified for the public.
There are interviews with some former nasa staff involved with this photo changing on youtube.
