Also, did you notice that at the beginning of the game, when you start a new file, it plays this video and then Sagi wakes up, asking his "Gaurdian Spirit" if he had the same dream again?

Oh, and by the way, I was going to post this comment but my commenting limit was succeeded, so I had to type a word to reactivate it, and my word was actually Kaitos. Strange. Think it randomly takes words from the page or something?

I was like...this is weird. A battle between winged people and these...beings..? And what are those googly eyed things? I played Origins first mind you...and then when I played the first one I was like.....So...the middle names of the dudes that were Malpercio are the end Magnus names? xD It was like...WTF?! And The first one showed Malpercio being some big monster thing. Well, the afterlings were monsters derived from the power from the 5, but...I dunno...

What's so damn cool about this intro is that you only understand it once you've beaten 3/4 of the game.

I just recently beat Baten Katios Origins (And have yet to get Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, which I hope to get soon) and the only thing I don't understand about the storyline is why Malpercio is supposedly "wicked". Wasn't Wiseman the evil one, turning people into Magnus? Malpercio was the group of friends who were trying to stop him. So why were the puppets created to destroy them, and why were they called the "wicked" god?

@GSPV33 thats a good question, well from what i know is that the children of the earth were more concerned about malpercio because all 5 (Ven,Pieda,Marno,Seph and thoron) borrowed the power of the dark bretheren and became gods, so if its anything id say that the dark bretheren is the reason that malpercio is called a wicked god although there intentions were anything but wicked :l hope that helped a bit

You people lack taste, saying that this intro is bad. It is superior to the intro of the first Baten Kaitos, but since you lack an artistic side, you'd never know.

If retards like you were to decide all RPGs would look like generic anime series - which most do, since they try to cater to the majority.

To me the first was better, due to the fact it's what made me want the game. This intro didn't really pull much for it. It didn't engage the same way. I don't see how this is an anime dispute tho?
