Easily one of the best games I've ever played. It's so beautiful and unique. It's hard not to enjoy this piece of art, even though people say that it's boring and repetitive, I never found it boring. It was a little repetitive, but at least the information gathering stages got gradually harder.

It was easier in the first game to put the assassins in, considering that there actually was a secret order of assassins during the third crusade. Of course, they weren't controlled by some religious artifact, but still. It would be harder to do in the second game because as far as we know, there weren't any secret assassin brotherhoods in the renaissance.

No offense, but I don't think this song fits at all with Assassin's Creed. This song is more like a "boo-hoo poor me" type of song, and Assassin's Creed is filled to the brim with "bad-assery"

Right, I'll clear up the hidden blade thing.

Altair had his ring finger cut off because the blade had to be released from the contraption across his lower arm, keeping his hand relaxed (thank you allyoucanbe735). AC1 is set in 1191, the tech wasn't good enough for it to work more easily then.

Da Vinci (thank you skylerb25) has better gear in the renaissance, and therefore came up with good enough kit ti prevent him from having to cut his ring finger off.

The reason Ezio doesn't have his ring finger cut off is because he's not an official assassin like Altair. And the creators showed the crossbow and then they replaced it with the throwing knives.

However, in Assassin Creed 2, the main char. still has his ring finger.

yeah that's because ezio kind of evovles into an assassin so he's not really the same kind of assassin altair is. plus, leonardo designed ezio's blade like that so he wouldn't have to cut his finger when the blade came out.

In the first one, you see Altair use a crossbow to take down a target and i though its perfect for a sniping weapon, but I did not get to use in the game.
