Nice job! That step makes a perfect footstool, I need to try it. I really should go back and brush up on all those Sor studies, give the Dowland a break for awhile. I'm not in the mood to fight the Bach stuff ever again, I'm old enough now to know I want to play enjoyable pieces for myself. It's no longer a sport.

I was outdoors working around the house in my old clothes when I decided to tape this piece. Afterwords I thought the birds & noises & somewhat shabby attire added an interesting contrast to the music.

The guitar is a Guild Mark V that I bought new in 1983 or 84. Rosewood sides & back, spruce top, though it looks like Cedar in the video. In recent years I have come to appreciate the guitar's tone. Either I've figured out how to get the most from it or It has improved w/age.

Thank you for your kind words. Originally I had a teacher that taught me the rudiments of reading music & classical guitar technique. In the 1980's I was in 3 Parkening master classes. With him, the focus was tone production involving nail shape, seating posture,tuning. After that he would work with interpretation & technical problems. Beyond that I put in hours & years of practice.
