She's great! Danes were bred with Greyhounds for speed and Mastiffs for strength to hunt wild boar. They need and love to run! I have had 3 danes and they were all awesome dogs!

i do the same thing with my black lab! i guess hes not the only one that loves the hum of a few hundred cc atv engine (or anything that's loud and goes fast)! great exercise and lots of fun for dog and owner. my lab has hit 32mph max after an hour run around the woods, i wonder how fast your dane could sprint??

Wonderful! I say, if your dog wants to run in a safe environment, is in good shape, and is able to do so, what's the problem? I think people forget that dogs should be allowed to be dogs and she seems so happy to be out there with you. :-)

@ronsbabe24 I could see her with a few more pounds, but she looks to be in great health and has a very nice body condition. Plus, if she does a lot of running she would go through calories faster than other more sedentary animals.

Experts make fools of themselves daily. They're constantly proven wrong on core beliefs. A dog being active is a good thing. Even better is the fact that it's a rescue. I personally love dogs and as soon as I get my own house (and not an apartment) I plan to start rescuing more animals.
