  • cool vid but its fake first hub bearings r in cone shape so it would go straight than the wheels r too heavy to go up hill like that after the muffle didnt had enough strength to roll like that the window is so fake

  • LOL FAKE !! COZ at 0:28 the wheel almost stopped and again start moving up the ramp..lol wat a physics joke dude ..but generaly realy nice one !!

  • @whcmennblk Dude, they put weights on the top of the wheels, and then they balanced them perfectly. so it looks like they're rolling up hill

  • thats computer made 100%

  • o.0

  • are you serious? am i the only that sees that only the 1st tire on the ramp moves with momentum the rest get bump up.i see some sort of flap on the ramp that possibly helps "spring" the wheel upward just enough to tap the next.

  • its computer generated for sure. look at the tires when they travel up the ramp they speed up all crazy and no energy is lost wich is impossible. plus none of the objects even look real

  • ya the wheel like sped up as it was going up the ramp

  • how did thows tires go up

  • how did the tiress goo up???

  • I believe that everything in this video is real, except for the speakers.

  • Agree, haha will will have taking days to do that mabey even weeks.

  • I have to eat my words, apparently it really is real. Snopes says it's actually two pieces of film, though -- with a join at the one-minute mark, when the muffler is rolling over...

  • holy shit! that made my day

  • Those who thought this is fake, you must have done very very poorly in your physics classes.

Go get a tire, put a heavy weight inside the top of it, and balance it so the weight is perfectly perpendicular to the floor. Now give it a slight nudge and watch it accelerate "magically"! Wow! Even uphill! (until the tire rotates past 180 degrees and starts rolling back in the other direction back and forth until it settles with the weight at the bottom.

That is your physics lesson of the day.

  • it is real

  • a wheel can't go up with that speed

  • i cauld explain that there was a weight inside the wheel so it started to go down and the wheel went u[p

  • Better Rube Goldberg device than in the cartoons!

  • its amazing how so many FUCKING retards underestimate the power of physics dumbshits.........

  • it looks fake but its still awesome

  • this is the most fake video I`ve ever seen.

  • all fake

  • no way that all happened in real time

  • THAT WAS AWESOME

  • bull shit theres no way the tires rolled up with that little of momentum

  • Yup that true

  • And also the spaekers wouldnt move like that they look sooo fake

    cvjbjvmbmjb gjbkgmjb gh htklh obn

  • i agreee with u that is so fake

  • Incredible

  • 2:52 it ran over a piece

  • I don't get how to tires rolled up the slope? Are they filled with H or HE?

  • I believe a weight was used inside the tire.

  • that was awesome but sometimes the camera moved to fast and it was hard to fallow

  • amazing

  • those Japanese sure make goooooooooooood cars.

it is proven to be the best in the harsh climate of the m.east.

    almost

    problems free.

unlike German let a lone others

  • looks cool

  • A car weel cant go upp hill of its own

  • its easy tey put a peace of metal when the cilinder hits it it turns the automatic windows

  • 1 bit i dont understand 1:12 it hits the window with the wood in it then the window gose down thru the wood? at first i thougt they cut a rectangel out of the window but then i realized how could the cilender hit the window if it wasnt ther??? if u no how that was done plzz plzzz coment back

  • Yes, I would enjoy to know also.

  • wow, you couldnt figure that out? there is a cut where the window goes down

  • @g739 im not for sure but if you look closely you will see a line or "Gap" in the wood

  • @g739 My guess, they used a saw :)

  • @g739 Thers a gap in the wood :D

  • @g739 i think there is just a button then it opens the window

  • @g739 there two different boards, with just enough space between them for the window. that's what i think

  • @g739 trololololololol

i feel so smart.. o wait, you sir just arent clever..

  • very good work but 0:27 with the tires looks pretty unrealistic.

  • this had to take a long time

  • There are obvious special effects throughout the entire thing. It is not in "real time"

Nice commercial though, very fun to watch!

  • The tires are real, cuz you'll notice that the tire before the last one wobbles side to side as if it were to fall off the edge from hitting the last tire. Also, quit saying crap like "it's fake" and complement them on thier work.

  • when the car starts rolling down the wheels turn to the right was i the only one to notice that???

  • Prolly not... because people dont usually notice ordainary things that happenen every day... do you a have car that has wheels that roll to the left to go forward? or somthing?

  • they said the wheels turn to the right, retard. That means the steering wheel was turned right. They didnt say that the tires were spinning. Make sure you understand what people say before you want to make fun of them.

  • And one more thing, if you look at the part of the speakers look carefully and you will notice that not only their is no wires but its computer edited.

  • 1:12 is so fake the wood goes throught the glass!!!

  • if u look closely tho u will see that there is a gap in the wood where the window goes thru

  • this is a real fake..see at 00:27 and 01:23

  • its all real

it took them like 3 months to film

and 206 shots to get it just right.

and costed like 6 mill or something

    but its all real

and the tires, they put ball bearings weights in the front to make them roll up hill.

  • man i don't know where you get your facts but how did they do it and why? this will be you test of the day.

  • Its so fake at 00:27 the wheels need to go up and a tap makes it go all the way breaking the law of gravity.

  • ya and even after it hits one it still moves up.

    FAKE

  • so its cant do it by itself but it could be someone pulling the wheels up but very unlikly

  • they put ball bearings in the front so they can roll up hill

  • Awesome!

  • this commercial did air by the way in the US, during the Patriots Super Bowl of 2005,

  • yea i think its a computer trick... how come at the end the speakers thing were moving and didn't fall..

  • lol this is a parody on a japanese TV show. i dont remember the name of it tho.

And for u guys saying the thing about the tires... u guys are hella dumb lol

  • lol i know they did alota stuff the make the tires move up and ect but that was pretty dam sweet if u ask me

  • lol if do not believe then email and ask for the Government Prof hahah, Feel so good ..being smart. Forever Azn

  • that waz dope

  • they had weights in the top of the wheels, so that as they roll forwards the weight actually falls. Thats how a wheel can roll uphill.

  • the tires only each rolled a tiny amount, the most it can turn with weights is 1/2 turn or less...

  • it was on a turn buckle. Watch it again and see

  • I agree with mor8an, come on, tires uphill? And they're getting faster :/. "No computer effects"? How obv. can that be?

  • i doubt the tires could roll uphill its like geting water to run up-stream?

  • its called momentum

  • astonishing, breathtaking, fabulous, inconceivable, mind-blowing, out-of-this-world, SUPERB!

  • jajajaja this is what i call!!! real thing!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT THATS FUCKEN CRAZY!

  • wow

  • this anvert DID air in the U.S. I used to see it on tv all the time!

  • "the tape that pulls them up" seems to be visible only to you, my friend, and even so, try pulling a cartire with rim upslope with a strip of tape! I'm sure you'll be quite dissapointed :(

  • What, you want to tell me there are no computertricks. Tss lol nice joke.

  • you guys use big words.. REALLY big words...

  • ummm i think the no camera trick thing was sarcastic cuz those car peices were so fake they looked like they got em out of the movie cars

  • it's real, the carpieces look fake because of how they look individually while they're brand new

  • HaloSnyper is right.

    Freaking sweet though :p.

  • the tires part is fake how they role up cuz they go slow then they staart to accelerate a little faster up the ramp

  • weights...

  • This display was at the 2004 LA Autoshow, I was there, I saw it LIVE. It is NOT computer Generated. Snopes is incorrect (AGAIN). Oh and this ad was shown in Canada during the Superbowl.

  • Are you sure that there's no trick? cus I've noticed that the three tyres seemed to move quite slowly and then increase a bit half way.

  • My guess is that they were balanced just right. I'll post a link to a higher resolution Quicktime file in a day or so. It's even better at a higher resolution.

  • I had to watch the making of this in class and they tie a weight inside each wheel to make it turn like that. but all of the parts were made from one car that honda gave the team to make some sort of commercial with.

  • Besides the fact there's obviously a weight hidden at the top of the tires...would any computer animator create an animation that detracted from the reality only in one place?

  • @pbergly ya any ur right i felt dat too

  • Quite funny that none of you have noticed that the tyres roll up-hill with far from sufficent initial speed ;)

  • I'm sure there's an explanation far beyond my understanding of physics to that one

  • Actually, I did notice that. But I'm afraid that if I mention it, there'll be lots of people "screaming" at me that it is real. The only way that could have been done without special effects would be if the tires were somehow motorized or pushed/blown by something. Also, the rolling exhaust was not pushed hard enough to be able to go that far. There were some invisible tricks in this whole thing, if not special effects.

  • No actually, the exhaust has a special oval shape that gives it an incredible amount of momentum, and I believe (notice, believe) that it is quite plausible. :) Kudos to whoever balanced it ^^

  • THAT IS PURE AWSOME!

  • smoooooooooooth
