And Sophie was the best girl to come second. The first thing she did when she found out she wasn't Dorothy was to congratulate the girl that was, and that takes alot of strength of character to do that.

2 b honest the result was fair and square. Danielle was more consistant out of the 2 by far. Danielle was more of an all rounder and she never held back in her performance. sophie had a stronger voice, but lacked on the acting side when she sang. both have a look about them that 'shouts' dorothy. but sophie always seemed to hold back in her performances, and almost looked like she was really self-conscious.

im glad danielle won,although i thought sopie was amazing aswell! at the very start of this show,the three i wanted in the final wer steph,sophie and danielle.i didnt like lauren,shes to grown up, posh and arragent (well thats the way i saw her).but im really happy for danielle,she is good at acting and singing and is best suitable for dorothy.sophie is a good sport,but she shud at least get maybe a speech?

I think this was the best result, although Sophie was a very strong contender, she had a very Dorothy look about her, she was sweet and looked just like a Dorothy, but so did Danielle - they were both amazing but Danielle was the best, amazing voice and actress. I'm defiantely going to see her preform. She will be amazing and she is an inspriation to what maybe one day I would like to achieve! ;] Well done Danielle! x <3 x

Definately the right result. She was preferred by the panel as she was the best candidate for the casting. Great dancer, good singer and the best actress. End of. It's not a singing competition. The others were good too but Danielle gave moments I'll be watching again and again.

but the thing is, even though Danielle was in the bottom twice she never received the least number of votes which Graham would announce each time. was Sophie never in the bottom? I thought Sophie was amazing but  i picked Danielle from the start and she did a couple of numbers that showed her versatility with dancing and acting which Sophie never really had as much of a chance to do.

i love this! so happy danielle won, she was born to play dorothy! sophie was great too and took loosing so gracefully! but i guess to get that far it really is a big achievement anyway! but...LOVE danielle! so funny at 3.57 "oooh i don't know where i'm going!" i really don't think they showed her real personality, which is this bubbly girl you see on here... until really late on..but she won anyway coz she is majorly talented! wooooo! :)

Lauren should have won. Danielle is good, but has a tendancy to shout. During the Medley with the lion, scarecrow and tin man, Lauren looked right IMO.  Such a shame.

Lauren hit a real sour note in that B flat she tried to pull off in I could have danced all night. they said it was great and it was dreadful. she was not the best vocalist. danielle was right for dorothy from the beginning. i loved sophie too. danielle was able to showcase more of dance, acting and singing over sophie which was unlucky for sophie. finally a virtual unknown kid won

I'm extremely disappointed that sophie lost but again Dainelle is much more professional and consistent. Sophie really needs to learn that without losing her innocence (hopefully) and overcomes nerves.

@ilikeblinking ALW has said that in IDA he shouldn't have said who was his favourite, as it was really unfair to the girls. So he was more impartial this series.
