I think my fav film music composers are Howard Shore, James Horner and Hans Zimmer. All of them are pure geniuses.

james horner is the worst fim music composer of all.

he constantly copiying himself, every new score of him sound EXACTLY like the one he did before.

there are only three score by james horner that are pretty good.

ALIENS (but the he already copied classic music pieces note by note wich are already used in kubrick´s 2001!)

THE LAND BEFORE TIME and BRAVEHEART!

EVERY other score he did sound exactly the same!.

In AVATAR you can hear pieces of BRAVEHEART AND TITANIC!!!

james horner is one the best composer/conductors around. and he's a personal favorite of mine. all of the themes from the movies that he scores are catchy. have anyone ever stoped and hummed a theme form his scores? i know i have

Probably my favorite score. I know Horner gets blasted a lot for regurgitating his own stuff, but this soundtrack is an amazing listen, regardless of what is said about the guy. I've listened to it probably thousands of times.
