  • I really wish that Muse released this single >.<

    It's so beautiful. :') <3

  • I really really want that intro as my Door-Bell :P

  • ...I'm sleepy o_o

What? Y'all were talking about the same thing, so I broke the pattern -_- Zzzzzz...

  • I somehow think adam stripped all the emotion from it and turned it into generic pop.

  • musewiki.org Soaked

  • reminds me a lot of USoE xD

you sure it was written during the BH&R era?

unless of course, the lyrics were and during TR era Bellamy accompanied with the music, alot like NSC in that sense xD

  • can anyone introducing more of such melodic and relaxing songs such as this? I'm on a hunt

  • OMG!! ITS THE MATT VERSION!!! WHERE DID YOU GET IT?? I CAN'T FIND IT??

  • I Love Muse and Adam Lambert, but Adam's instrumental version is better than Muse version, too much drums kills drums =) Otherwise the two versions have their charm =)

  • @Nightmare52 actually Matthew Bellamy wrote this during the BHaR era, around 2006, before Adam's American Idol season. Matthew gave it to Adam for his first album but it wasn't written for him. You're right though, this song won't be released by Muse.

  • @Nightmare52

Yes Adam did great but no way he does it better, you take that back! :p lol

  • @Nightmare52 I was going to comment about the fact that Matt Bellamy wrote this in 2006 but Will covered it. So yeah, wasn't written FOR Lambert, rather given. Soaked was considered unreleased and won't be released by Muse. However, does sound similar to United States of Eurasia...hmmm. I wonder if both were considered for Resistance?

  • i love this version almost as much as i love adam's (im a biased opinion though becuase adam is my favorite artist ever, even though i love mus too) but i love this one becuase it has that edge that is in all of muse's songs. love it :)

  • Awesome intro

  • I love this so much <3

  • I like this version better than Adam's, but I'm biased as well. I don't have anything against Adam Lambert and actually think he's pretty cool. It's just that no one can beat Muse in my eyes. ^^

  • wow ... two totally different versions of a song just by changing the artist ... both are great but remarkably different

  • Good song. I like it. I wonder why it was never released.

  • Oh and thanks, I really enjoyed it. =) I had been looking for this.

  • @SapphireBlue09 Haha, I just looked at this video yesterday and thought "Man I haven't had a comment on this in a while. So yeah, perfect timing!

Definitely a good point you bring up, it is impossible to compare the two, which is why I cited my obsession with Muse as the only reason why I prefer this version. Both artists are exceptionally talented. I for one am jealous that you saw Adam perform this live! Must have been incredible! =D

  • @WillCathers See him live when you get the chance. He is selling out his 'GlamNationTour' (while many artists are cancelling due to lack of ticket sales) He's a fantastic performer. Unbelievable. No wonder Matt Bellamy gave him this song - he trusted him enough. I am a Muse fan =) Exceptional talent.

  • @SapphireBlue09 No doubt the song is in excellent (Adam's) hands

  • I love this version as much as I love Adam's. Cannot compare - apples and oranges. Two different artists, two different interpretations. I have heard Adam sing this live in Toronto just recently, vocally he was outstanding. Just breathtaking.

  • i agree. Muse's version is so much better. I am a fan of both Adam & Muse. But I gotta say,Muse killed it on this one. Thanks for the upload!
