@JesusBlack14 Ringo Starr was the narrator when The Thomas videos first came to the United States on 'Shining Time Station' and I agree, he is still the best. Glad you enjoyed the Pumpkin Junction video. Be sure and check out Thomas at our friends at "PineTreeJunction' on Youtube. Good luck with your model railroading.
@leokimvideo I think Bachmann did a great job with their Thomas engines. Check out the PineTreeJunction site to see them on a fantastic garden layout.
@Lepper36 Thank you for your nice comment. When you build a model railroad, the question when you are finished is 'What do I do now?' Youtube provides a marvelous opportunity to try and do new things with the railroad after the space for expansion runs out. Thanks again for commenting.
I love it! It might work better if you used different shots cut together, and add narration when editing... Just a suggestion! Anyway, it's awesome :D
@ScottishRails Thanks for visiting the Pumpkin Junction. Glad you enjoyed the video. This was my second video and was still early in the learning curve. Hopefully I will be getting an editing program that will allow me to add narration after filming. Right now I am limited to Windows Movie Maker.
@AnimeLover4931 Thanks for visiting the Pumpkin Junction. If you don't care for narration, please checkout 'Thomas & Percy, A Grand Day on the Pumpkin Junction Railway' or 'Old West Playmobil Train' as they just have music.
@BramGroatFilms These were models from when my son was young. They are marked Ertl on the bottom with a 1990 copyright, so we got them shortly after the Shining Time Station program was first aired on PBS. Thanks for watching the video, hope you enjoyed it.
Heres another thing.. Sir Topham Hatt in the UK (The country of origin) is referred to as The Fat Controller. Somehow that didnt got down to well in the USA. I have a hard time not calling him the Fat Controller as that how he was known when I grew up. Now I live in the USA and my son is into Thomas.. Have to bite my tongue every time.. Damn silly political correctness..
@tidmouthmilk12 Yes, and I'm a little surprised that it has taken 4 months for someone to comment on it. My only excuse is that I was filming and doing narration ad lib and correct forms of British title address don't just naturally roll off the tongue in American. Hope it didn't spoil the video for you.
@silverexpress1997 I use an LGB transformer controller that is made for a USA 110 V electrical outlet. It puts 12-18VDC to the track. Hope you have enjoyed the Pumpkin Junction RR videos.
Well to be more precise, the other videos are about showing the new large scale thomas, while this is the first to use a story, which in this case involves thomas picking up a passenger.
thats an ac layout, your kids must be so lucky to have a thing like that!

did you change the cuoples on thomas, annie and clarabel????
artist794 2 years ago
Yes, I have a tight S-curve on the layout and the fixed body couplers caused the cars to derail. I replaced them with homemade drawbars.

Thomas was for Christmas, hopefully Percy will be later this year.

I wish Bachmann could give the HO scale Thomas as much detail.

Ever thought of getting the Accucraft Casey Junior?
trainguy111 2 years ago
Missed getting one when they came out several years ago and they seem to be hard to find now. I think one would look good on the layout.
PumpkinJunctionRR 2 years ago
I know how you'd feel. If Bachmann could make one, theirs would be just as good. Maybe even better.
trainguy111 2 years ago
Nice layout! What size is it?
trainguy111 2 years ago
It is 10 feet wide an 26 feet long. 12 turnouts, 2 sidings and 3 reverse loops
