Yes to this whole thing except the number one spot and I only say that for this simple fact: Every other game you named besides Portal 2 actually had decent replayability. A puzzle game is nothing the second time through. Other than that, yes to everything you said. And a DEFINITE yes to the outro comment about a second Call of C'thulhu. That would be amazing.

UM SKYWARD SWORD? im guessing you haven't played it at all, everyone hating Nintendo and all. But you should of mentioned it, it's amazing and got a better score than every game you mentioned.

@DonutTheDragon UM I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT? I said beforehand the list was only comprised of games I have played. Also, I don't have a Wii, but it has nothing to do with "hating Nintendo." I have an NES, SNES, N64 and GameCube... just not a Wii.

Also, what "better score" are you talking about? Metacritic has Skyrim higher. Oh well!

@HarshlyCritical exactly i thought you hadn't played it. its great you should get it. Its worth buying a wii. most people are hating on nintendo it makes me mad i love everything skyrim is barely my #2 and portal 2 is barely my #3. and i was talking about IGN. metacritic is really bogus:P

well personally i think the only reason to buy a call of duty game is to play online :O story mode is just okay but online is really where its at

I played portal 2 (the only reason why I spent all my saved money on an xbox 360) and it was great! I got stuck on a few parts but was great. Alice madness returns was a bit confusing I'm still stuck on the first guy (the black one with 3 heads) and I gave up on it. The other games I hadn't really heard of :)

The black one with 3 heads is a Menacing Ruin, I hate those things with a passion. You have to use the umbrella to deflect the fireballs he throws, and after that his arms break off and you can bombard him with the Pepper Gun.

@HarshlyCritical i watched a few walkthroughs about the Alice: Madness returns....and the umbrella has a glitch -_-' so i have to use the bombs and pepper gun.....Skyrim..i heard slightly of but brushed it off.

nice! I really wasn't expecting to see SKYRIM in your top 5 games, so it came as a little surprise. So, awesome! I liked it a lot too, been playin it for 3 weeks now, haven't beaten it yet, though! And Dead Space 2! Also one of my favs for this year, and just to let you know, my third game of the year would be Deus Ex: Human Revolution, it's a shooter, yes! But i liked the story :) Anyway, nice review man! Take care.

PS: I don't hate CoD, but i do think it's ridiculously overrated O.o

a bit more about story differences in gow 2 and gow 3 . in gow 2 story was darker , more dramatic , actually felt like its a fucking war going on . gears 3 didn't had that feeling . even when my favorite character died , it wasn't sad it was just stupid . if epic gonna ruin gears 3 even more with their stupid decision i swear to god , i will burn the cd and film it . good to hear you dislike sawed of shotgun . liked

gears 3 blows . Story in gears 2 was way better . way more interesting and catchy . gears 3 story was just corny and plain stupid ... also Anya suck ass in gears 3 . i was hoping to see her get killed ... the multiplayer also suck ass . it was good when it was just released but now , dedicated servers are laggy as fuck . in Europe gears 3 is just as laggy as gow 2 in mp . and yesterday epic announced that if you want to have dedicated servers you have to buy new dlc ...

call of duty was such a good game that they released it 7 times. but that (almost)fact aside i am a sucker for FPS even if they are repetitive as hell.

Im with HarshlyCritical COD sucks ass. But to tell the truth i think oblivion is better than skyrim i just couldnt get into the combat system of skyrim.but the story of skyrim is great .

Critiquing constructively.. You can definitely tell, as a viewer, that you are reading your top 5 lol. It kills the presentation.. ya know.. if you care about that stuff.

Comment: I actually liked Dead Space over Dead Space 2 simply because DS2 got a lot less creepy after chapter 10 when you are swarmed. I definitely can see from both sides of the coin though, and I liked Isaac better in DS2. I just wish they would have perserved the atmosphere towards the end of DS2.

I agree with your thoughts on CoD MW3, and skyrim is a great game, but i always seem to go back to a bit of an oddity in the PS3 library of games call MAG. Its one of my favorite shooter games because IT HAS HEALTH which made it more realistic and the story is not that bad for an online only game. If you have the chance, give it a try you might like it.

dark souls > skyrim... skyrim get too face roll and offers next to no challenge once you get well into the game. the only thing i found amazing about the game was the graphics, sure there was alot to explore alot to do ect, but when it comes down to it, the lack of challenge and variation from fight to fight left it really repetitive 20 hours + into the game. if perhaps it had more to the game other then amazing color from spells and nice backgrounds, it'd be game of the year.

I absolutely agree with you about call of duty, it's way too overrated, especially black ops and mw3. I do enjoy black ops a lot and play it everyday (or most days) but it's definitely NOT the best first person shooter ever. MW3 is an absolute, utter and complete failure. The maps are terrible, guns are not properly balanced.. blah it just sucks, I'm selling my copy soon. If I was to choose one of the best fps I would have to go with BF series although the servers sucks

i don't hate call of duty i loved world at war. what i hate is call of duty players that worship the the ground it stands on like its the second coming of Jesus. in my opinion saints row three is a good buy but its alot like saints row two except flashier, skyrim is an amazing game and i totally agree. i never played portal two and i cant watch your play through cause i plan on getting it same reason i cant watch shadows of the damned or limbo and dead space two is to scary for me lol
