A note to the parents of Mary Margaret: Children are being taught and conditioned that the Bible is a book of "stories" to the unfortunate circumstance that many adults today believe they are fables, parables and even fairy-tales. It would be nice to see Mary start referring to bible scriptures as bible "accounts" and not "stories". Mary stands witness to everyone that she has exceptional and wonderful blessed parents. Your daughter is a complete joy to behold. She made my day. God bless.

@xtrememiobi - The bible is filled with historical accounts, not "stories". We as a society should try to steer away from the use of the word "stories" when talking about the bible for it promotes the idea of fable and parable. Biblical accounts are "God-breathed" testimonies of historical events that should be taken literally and not as metaphor. She really is precious! peace & God bless.

@IamSayer Atheism is a belief just like any religion has beliefs. Unless you would offer up all of your beliefs (aka opinions) for me to parse through and decide what is appropriate to teach your children, then you cannot judge what other people do with their kids. Agnosticism does not escape this because you still believe that you don't know/are unsure. I am not telling you to change what you believe as I imagine it is the same, but it is extremely juvenile to tell people how ot raise kids.

God speak to people in many ways. Since not everyone is the same, He must find ways to reach them, meeting them where they are. I believe Mary Margaret is going to reach people that other's could not. She is going to meet people where they are, speak her stories to them, and they shall finally hear. What a blessing!
