one of my 2 tortoises fell off a big 12ft drop 2day onto concrete and i feel so bad! he broke his shell bad above his tail so i rushed him 2 th vet and they said he will be ok but it was so unnecasary! and now i will hav a big bill and a busted up tortoise!

How did this turtle manage to tip over in the middle of a field?

@djab2 We have 11 tortoises and have seen 2 different ways in which they end up on their back. The 1st being, 2 males fighting, and the other when a male mounts a female whilst mating, the male sometimes slips off. On the occasion of this video, I believe the latter occurred -
