whoops 3:18 not all globes have to be AC, thay can run on DC, just at a higher frequency, but not as effective with the whole Peek to peek voltages therefor AC is preferd but can run on DC.

another thing globes aint always filled with inert gases usually just vacuum is sufficient for a standard Globe, and it did look like some standard automotive globe, not a neon or other sort ?? i may be mistaken, but yes not all globes have inert gasses in them, but the plasma globe must have an inert gas
