Any documentary on the new Camaro, to have a bit more social import, should also discuss the role the new car has in the fortunes on GM and its questionable future survival. I'd also note that the first prototypes of GM's Volt used the body style that became the new Camaro. I've often wondered if GM decided to "make two cars out of one design", bringing back the Camaro using the body-style, and design something else for the Volt? Worth discussing in your film.
I'll put it this way: compare the photo of the photo of the original Volt concept to the new Camaro and the latest incarnation of the Volt, and tell me which one it most resembles (with its' chopped top, low-profile nose, over-sized wheels and narrow grill, vs the "new" Volt that looks more like a Prius.
Sorry Casey, big fan. But the original Volt concept had more influence on the design of the Camaro (which came soon after) than the current Volt, which looks nothing like it.
Way to go, Casey! I love your work.

I've seen the Volt concept face to face a few years ago. It is not the same looking car by any means.

Do a Google image search of "Chevy Volt Concept" and the resemblance is undeniable.

Once again, I have seen it online, AND face to face. It looks nothing like the new Camaro. I'm not sure were you are getting that from?
