That sounds so cool! I love the sound of a Wurlitzer electric piano! I hope to find the student or teacher's version that was used back in the 1970's where a set of these pianos were used in a class room.

Personally, I like the Rhodes better. The keys of the Wurlitzer were just a little too clinky. I though it was interesting how much more sound the keys produced with no amplifier as compared to the Rhodes.

Both sound so unique!

it was a wurlitzer, but even before that it was used on "NIght Time is the Right Time" by Ray Charles in 1958. However, in later years, Ray Charles did use a Fender Rhodes. A rhodes was used in the opening sequence of "ray" with jamie foxx during the what'd i say intro, but the recording with mr. charles is definitely a wurlitzer.

I think Richard Wright used it with a wah pedal for the Pink Floyd song "What do you want from me" from the album "The Division Bell". Was it really a Wurlitzer piano and a wah pedal?

Yeah mate, there are Auxillary and Phone jacks underneith, on the middle left hand side edge beside the Manufacturers plate. I just put my guitar amp in before and she sounds great, Especially with the effects!

The Wurlitzer sold on ebay. The songs my friend is playing starts with "Two Turntables and a Microphone" by Beck, then the intro to a Ray Charles song, after that I'm not sure. He plays by ear, so he's never seen the music for those songs. He just figures it out as he goes.
