I believe in reincarnation as a possible occurrence in the universe. A recent documentary called My Reincarnation showed me that anything is possible. myreincarnationfilmdotcom
The soul (our true identity) is completely separate from our physical bodies, our minds, ego and intelligence. The soul wears these things like clothes, and we (the soul) changes these clothes many many times. When a person loses their physical body, they take with them their mind, and intelligence, and ego (ghost), and hopefully goes on to their next body, depending on their mentality at the moment of their death. We've all had many previous lives, a few of us remember them, most of us don't.
Very young children do things that they can't possibly have learned from others. My grandmother always use to say 'They have been here before'. I think she was right.
Consciousness, personality, and memories are from the brain. There is no debate about this is the real world. When someone develops alzheimer's disease, as the brain shrinks, consciousness and cognition are reduced or destroyed. And then you have cases of amnesia where people loose memories, character, personality, and in many cases, they become completely different people. One must ask oneself, why is the soul or consciousness being affected by the material brain? Because it is a product of it.
@buddhasknowbest That my friend is your opinion. There are those of us who do not belive that the whole of existence can be analysed by devised physical science, and those of us who don[t feel the need to destroy any believe that cannot be reduced into dead materialism.
I've had two full death encounters in my life. At age 25 and 44. In the first one, I was given a review. My consciousness was expanded as I stood before Christ. The first past life showed me in the American Civil War. I was an unheard of solder leading the North against the South to free the slaves. I was shot in the pubic area, screamed for a medic and was dead in less than a minute. I was in my early twenties. I also was shown I chose this life which was "wrecked" and was asked to come home.
What I found fascinating with this experience is that I had, had a dream of this event many years before the death encounter at age 25. When I came back, I realized this dream was no dream, but a memory of a past life existence, because I was shown this in death as I got my life's review. Though I was raised Catholic, the NDE changed me big time and made me see the Bible in a whole new way. I was changed. Most religious don't see the Bible in the right light I learned. Now I see it correctly.
The problem is that Christianity, which used to allow belief in reincarnation, no longer allows it and Christians feel uncomfortable embracing it because they aren't taught it anymore. Read Matthew - even Jesus talks about it. The Church removed this belief and now most of us have a hard time embracing it. I'm in my 40s and I resisted the idea until recently. It took a lot of convincing.
I really want to get regressed by someone who is trained in it.
I remember seeing a documentary about a skeptical journalist who set out to debunk the idea that people can see past lives under hypnosis. He underwent hypnosis himself and started to describe vividly a life as a young man in India, he said he could even feel his parched throat and the thirst he always had. He was instantly turned into an outspoken supporter of the idea.
Check out Reincarnation Truth dot com for information about children's past-life stories, reincarnation research, what the Bible has to say (it will surprise you), books, and more.
Wait i thought nothing changed. 1st church sold 'salvation tickets' to people with money, now lawyers do it in the court room.
Budism firmly believes in reincarnation, from what i know Roman cults from catacombs stated Christian culture resents to afterlife, thus going to hell or heaven.
Jesus himself makes vague references to reincarnation in certain passages of the Bible that weren't censored-out (because of their vagueness, they slipped by the censors) by the Romans at the Nicene Council, when he refers to John the Baptist as the reincarnation of the Old Testament prophet, Elijah (paraphrasing here). Check it out yourself and see what you think. So, IMHO, Christianity and reincarnation are more closely linked than most believe.
@MrPeace2u you should read more about Buddhism and see how the rebirth happens through your own life, It explains what brings you to hevens, human realm, animal realm, hungry ghosts, heavens very clearly. And if human, it explains why you are born as a rich one, as a poor one, handicap by birth, beautiful by birth all the differences you see. Even buddha himself has described previous 500 lives of his own as Kings, Animals, Gods, before he found the reason for the rebirth and how to stop it..
At first I thought I was Napoleon in my past life, but then I had a regression and discovered that I was just mycelium grown by a dorm room mycologist who wanted to trip on my mycelium penises known as mushrooms...
Please come and check out reincarnation from the perspective of the philsophy and science, called Spiritism. It first began in the late 1850s, and the number of followers, around the world, is ever growing. Spiritism - which teaches about reincarnation, as a process of evolution and spiritual progress toward true happiness - offers us a wealth of information!
For more about Spiritism & the Spiritist perspective on reincarnation, just search online for EXPLORE SPIRITISM.
There is of course our local Mind Circuit and also cellular/dna memory that can cause false memories and add to confusion in the 'reincarnation doctrine'. But reincarnation is mostly yet another control method used to, but not soley, rob you of your hope for deliverance and spiritual advancement. -Godspeed and LOVE!
No that isnt it at all, Reincarnation is very real and isn't a control method, all of the earliest spiritual doctrines taught that reincarnation exists and it does, besides memories arent the only aspect of the reincarnation phenomenon there is also the deja vu, spontaneous recollection, birthmarks, and the resemblance of many people of their previous incarnation
@gatheringleaves i have deja vu but i have them in my dreams but i dont know about them to it actually happens can i ask you a question how many times can a person be reincarnated
I believe consciousness exists as a separate form of existence and alike energy & information it cannot be created nor destroyed yet it connects to the brain and when the body dies its energy/force can no longer grasp this consciousness and the consciousness is released only to caught by another magnetic like force from a newly born brain inside a body and a way to prove it is that consciousness cannot be created nor destroyed hence creating consciousness will prove imposisble

@RainWolf20 "PROVE IT. That's the best they've got"
What else is there? Why should we accept these claims on face value??? Do you accept claims of alien abduction and loch ness monsters on face value? Or would you need evidence first?
Why's it that every person that claims to have been reincarnated died in some violent way? Why couldn't they have just died of old age? I haven't heard any stories about that.
Before I was born, the possibility my parents would not meet existed, yet this would mean it was possible I would not be born, in fact it would be really unlikely I would be born, so this meant it was possible for my parents to meet, making my life possible yet the possibility of my parents not meeting existed which would make my life impossible so before I was born the possibility of me being born was possible & impossible simultaneously.
all the atoms that make you including your body and brain up existed before you were born, so this means your consciousness must be a seperate thing that the atoms (soul) because ur atoms have existed long before u were alive thus there must be a soul or u face the paradoxical conclusion of u were alive before born yet this is actually true ironically yet in the form of a soul...
what I just said is undeniable, there must be life after death :D
you are yourself, you are unique.. your finger print on your thumb is your tag... you were never remade and have to face the consequence of what you did and stand before god's justice.. believe in true justice of god who does not reincarnate the murderers but punish them before the victims...they shall meet their end
@1977hero youre so stupid to throw the bible that you probably defy daily in the face of everything.there is reincarnation and if you dont know anything about something you should probably just keep your fat mouth shut.
@RainWolf20 "And how can you be so certain that reincarnation isn't real" because a person's identity, character and memories come in the form of neural connections in the BRAIN. No brain = no person, no thoughts, no memories.
prove that there is something more then the brain before beginning to claim what kind of things can happen to it.
With all do respect, ScientificBob, all that science has discovered existed before science discovered it. Science is a validation for those who seek such validation. Those who believe in reincarnation are confident in what they believe. It is those who don't who want evidence. Thus, if you're searching for evidence, how is that our problem? There is evidence, but it is evidence you're unwilling to accept because it cannot be in inputted into your system. @ScientificBob
And it's not true because the evidence doesn't mold to your system? Thats's fallacious. Like I said, the discoveries of science existed before they could be explained. @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 "And it's not true because the evidence doesn't mold to your system" Wrong. Rather: there is no reason to think it's true, because there is NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER to suggest that it is.
@RainWolf20 Just like non-existance doesn't need to be proven (it even CAN'T be proven... how do you prove that X does NOT exist??? It's impossible). EXISTANCE needs to be proven.
If you claim a soul exists: you need to prove this claim.
Existance needs to be proved according to who? Science freaks? Those who base their life off evidence? Don't take yourself so seriously, man. You're a bunch of uptight people. Must I repeat it again? Why bother. Burden of proof? You act as if you're entitled to proof. You are aware that YOU are the one demanding evidence and not the person who believes? @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 "Existance needs to be proved according to who" According to everybody who actually cares whether ot not their take on reality is actually correct.
"You are aware that YOU are the one demanding evidence and not the person who believes" Weird isn't it? Anyhow, so what? Your beliefs inform your actions... If you believe stupid shit on face value, then that DOES concern the rest of us - since those stupid beliefs might inform your actions.
Those who believe in the unproven are perfectly content because it makes sense to them. And then those seeking evidence budge in and demand it. You're not entilted to evidence. And if someone wants to believe in an absurdity that's unproven, let them. @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 " And if someone wants to believe in an absurdity that's unproven, let them" Why? I really don't understand this about 21ste century society. WHY the FUCK is it considered a GOOD thing to leave people in their ignorance?
I can't digest how followers of science drop by the reincarnation videos and stress how there's "no evidence" and proceed to belittle those who believe it when they come up empty handed. YOU are the one who wants evidence. YOU. You might as well be belitting yourself. @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 "YOU are the one who wants evidence" Actually, no. I don't really care for it. You know why? Because I know there is no evidence of obvious bullshit. Do you really think that I expect to get anything from you? Off course not.
I'm just pointing out to YOU that it's pretty dumb to believe in obvious shit. I'm not saying you are dumb. You're doing something dumb. Smart people can perfectly do dumb things as well.
Youu science freaks should stop shoving your tiny box of scientific agenda over people's head. We don't care that you feel you're entilted to evidence. We don't care that you need evidence to confirm OUR beliefs. It's your problem, not ours. The "if there's no evidence, it doesn't exist" is only invalid inside the minds of those who desire evidence.
@RainWolf20 "Youu science freaks should stop shoving your tiny box of scientific agenda over people's head" What agenda? Science is a methodology to find out how stuff works... not a dogma or doctrine...
""if there's no evidence, it doesn't exist" Why do you ignore what I say? I never claimed this and never will. What I said was: if there's no evidence, then there is no reason to believe it. That's not the same as saying that it doesn't exist.
But there is a great deal of evidence to suggest it exists and modern day science is fundamentally flawed so it doesnt matter whether or not science of today has conclusively proven whether the soul or reincarnation exists or not
@gatheringleaves "there is a great deal of evidence to suggest it exists " Name 2 examples that are not anecdotal.
" modern day science is fundamentally flawed " Explain? Because my pc, robots on mars, airplanes, nuclear stations, flue vaccins, hearth transplantations, etc etc etc seem to disagree with that statement.
You don't know that reincarnation doesn't exist, and neither do we. We're in the same boat. But those who believe it can connect with it, and that's the only "evidence" they need.
The same goes for those who've seen ghost. Someone like yourself would demand evidence. Those who've seen a ghost KNOWS damn well they seen a ghost, but cannot explain it. Does that mean ghost don't exist? No. It means YOU need evidence to convince yourself. Do you see how this is your problem? *sigh* @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 "Those who've seen a ghost KNOWS damn well they seen a ghost, but cannot explain it. Does that mean ghost don't exist? No" When people see things that other people can't see... that's halucination. If this happens without taking drugs and stuff, it's best to go see a shrink. With the meds, these people stop seeing things that other people can't see. Like I said: the brain is a sensitive organ that WILL deceive us. This is why independent confirmation is important.
No, I have seen a ghost before and It wasn't a hallucination, my entire family saw the same thing, and none of us take medication or are crazy your and idiot and closeminded
No, testimonies (anecdotes) are not evidence. Unless they are verifiable. And they are not.
Furthermore, what you call "testimonies" are in fact just claims. Claims can never be evidence. Claims need to be supported by evidence. And claims can't support themselves - that would be circular reasoning.
I sound like the inquisition? You sound like a gullible fool.
@ScientificBob I am not surprised I am not making sense to *you*, buddy. Galileo didn't make any sense to the Inquisition either. I see you argue with everyone on this site. Your super bright all-knowing scientific mind dismissing everyone's testimony and trashing us all. Bravo, nice crusade my friend. Relax now and if you want to be honest with yourself say "I don't really know either" and continue your life in peace and let the rest of us all suffer our mass fatal deception here. In peace.
@costasb5 Galileo could actually prove what he was saying. Which is different then just claiming it.
That's why you aren't making any sense with your "testimony" argument.
Testimonies (anecdotes) are CLAIMS. Claims need to be substantiated. Galileo could substantiate his claims without using his claims to do it. You can't.
@ScientificBob we may not be able to prove this now, but don't be jumpy to dismiss it. are you religious or something like that? we are just starting to explore the limits of what we now call "reality" and it's weirder than anyone can imagine... scientifically speaking, u can't proof even your own existence
@ScientificBob this isn't the case to compare reincarnation to santa claus. first of all: have you tried remembering your past lifes and you came to the conclusion that reincarnation it is not valid? it's not a matter of logic, it's not a matter of spirituality, it's a matter of understanding the human subconscious. the other 90% of your brain. how can these testimonials are not verifiable, does it seem natural to you that a child should know such things?
@defphoenix "it's not a matter of logic" At least you say something we can both agree on. Logic is far to be found in the things you say.
Your brain IS who you are, this is biological and neurological fact. No brain, no person.
Prove that a person is something more then a brain and then we can talk again. Until you do, your claims are classified in the same category as alien abduction, bigfoot, thor and santa claus.
@ScientificBob are you saying that you are who you are because of the biological matter inside your head? because of your genome? because of some chemical reactions between your synapses? you cannot explain this way the human behaviour, his desires, his talents or stuff like that? If you were defined as a person only by your brain, twins would behave absolutely the same, which is not the case...so there must be something else there....
@defphoenix "are you saying that you are who you are because of the biological matter inside your head?" Yes. There is no reason to think otherwise.
" twins would behave absolutely the same" No. This shows that you have no idea how a brain works. Apparantly you have never heared of neural networks. They are not identical in twins, they can't be by defenition.
Frankly, although it's potentially alluring, I have no interest in scientific bs whatsoever. It's not my cup of tea and it hasn't been since high school. I'm not going to feed it, so gather your tiny box of supposed normalcy and find someone's head to force it over. @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 "It's not my cup of tea and it hasn't been since high school" That much is clear. But just because you don't care doesn't mean you get to ignore it. Your pc is not working "by faith". Have a little respect for the people thanks to whom you can live a healthy comfy life in a high-tech home. It amazes me that people can diss on science and ridicule it like you do while it's friggin science that has built our advanced fucking society.
Know that people will fiercely believe what they will while you believe it's bullshit and that they need evidence. (When it's YOU who needs evidence.) Cool. Whatever. Your point is? Good luck conforming the world to your narrow minded beliefs. It's never going to happen. Some people actually have a sense of internal freedom. You, on the other hand, have the burden of justification to weigh in your chest. Don't take it so seriously.
@RainWolf20 " Good luck conforming the world to your narrow minded beliefs" Says the person who will believe what he/she wants to believe, despite the lack of evidence and even in face of evidence to the contrary.
I'm not close minded. I'll accept anything when you can demonstrate it. I don't have an emotional attachment to my worldview. I just care about it being actually correct.
So you're suggesting that those who do not conform to your beliefs are tainted? You can ridicule someone all you want on their beliefs, but guess what? They have a right to that belief whether you can confirm it or not. Only to you does it need to be proven. Good luck in modifying the world with your method. You'll get a whole lotta "fuck off" from free spirited, open minded people. :) If the world were the way YOU want it, there would be no challenges. @ScientificBob
Also, you cannot possess a memory that you haven't experienced. It cannot be scientifically explained how one can recall a memory that has never played out in their lives. "Yes, it can. It's just your brain recalling experiences from your life." Not a possibility when, for example, a place is familiar that you've never been before. How would you explain that? If you've never been there, how is it familar? @ScientificBob
@RainWolf20 "Also, you cannot possess a memory that you haven't experienced" Who says it was an actual memory? The brain is a very sensitive organ that WILL trick you in these kinds of things.
"Deja vu" etc are part of those things. It's perfectly possible for a brain to 'mistaken' a simple thought or image for a memory. It's called cognitive neuroscience. But hey, why bother with the science right? You believe it, that settles it, claim proven... hahaha.
@wszq13 Lol, exactly you don't have a soul you are a soul, perceptions are only recordings of various waves via sensory organs, eyes, ears nose etc. . . life as a game is a more responsible approach than the 'you only live once, who ever dies with the most stuff wins,' philosophy.
sorry for the repeat - cont... My son has always been fascinated with girl make-up and has a fear of water. In the bath tub he does not like you to pour water over his head, and he does not want to learn to swim. As he gets older, now 4 he does not talk about it anymore. I think this is good. To help him get over his fears... But he does ask what happened before he was born. He always asks me to clarify time lines for him, in relation to his birth date.
My 4 year old son told me about a year ago... He told... well he asked me, if I remember when he died. I asked him what he was talking about... I said when did you die? He said, "before I was in your tummy." I asked him how he died. He said, "he drowned." I asked him if it was in the ocean or a pool?" He said in the ocean. Another time, while he was watching me put on make-up he asked me if I remembered when he used to wear make-up. I asked when... He said when I was big like you
@desireemable yes, all of my children have said strange things like that too. Lots of when I was big stories and a few
when I was a girl or boy which ever was the opposite gender of what they are in this life.I tried not to dismiss their stories and just allow them to remember, but as they aged the memories faded and now as teens they us occasionally dream of things that feel like memories but when they ask me about them I don't have the same memories. Strange.
My 4 year old son told me about a year ago... He told... well he asked me, if I remember when he died. I asked him what he was talking about... I said when did you die? @desireemable I often have disturbing dreams of Ocean waves coming close to me--and I can't breathe--ironically, I have a 'passion' for the ocean and could never live in a land-locked country...I think that I drowned in a previous life...
AdoR081 has a point. How can you be certain of reincarnation existing? Actually you cant be certain of anything..Maybe this life, you think you are living, is just a dream from someone else.. But hopefully its true though..:)
Reincarnation is one of the oldest spiritual ideas and as one of the high rating comments mentioned it was a vital part of the teachings of Christianity before the Nicean council removed it from it's teachings. This was done in order to establish the idea that only Christianity and the Christian God can save you and if people were to realize they are 100% capable of saving themselves the cash cow known as Christianity would crumble at the foundation. Faith sales would plummet.
@stymie662 I read a book once :) but google works just as well for finding out info like this. Karma: The ancient science of cause and effect by Jeffrey Armstrong was the book I first saw the claim about reincarnation being removed. He states it pretty matter-of-factly yet I still do research on statements like that. He cites sources and there are plenty of others that reinforce this claim although none share the same motives for it's removal.
@NTravitz reincarnation predates christianity yet people are conditioned to NOT believe in reincarnation. Im thankfall to my teachers at school for showing us a video on reincarnation when I was about 13 or 14. I have always believed I have been here before and I know I will be here again.
@RainWolf20 Show me then. I can't believe something if I don't have proof for it. That's not how life works. Just like I don't believe in a unicorn because there is simply no proof, I don't believe this 5 year old kid talking about his past life.
well it's an accepted "fact" in eastern religion (hinduism, buddhism, jainism) that there is a repeated cycle of birth and death and your next life is decided by your karma. We are not this body but living soul and just like we change clothes when it get's dirty/old, in the same way we leave this body and get another new body (can be any living entity - human, animal, plants). Bhagavad gita, the authority book, on this subject confirms this in chapter 2 verse 13.
@thoughtgorger I hope yours is a sincere request. Yes, I have recalled numerous past lives, as my religion ECKANKAR, teaches about the purpose of life being that SOUL is sent to worlds like Earth, to grow and learn. It takes many lifetimes to develop the full DIVINE POTENTIAL of SOUL, as it takes many classes for a student to go from 1st grade to Senior. My first recall was triggered by an emotional breakup. I found myself back in the Old West as a preacher, going thru the same breakup then.
part 2...I couldn't quite let go of the pain and attachment of that episode, so I had to go thru a version of it this life (with the same person) in order to move on. Since then, I have recalled being a soldier in the Revolutionary War, a British publisher, a french woman guillotined in their Revolution, Greek pithea, Egyptian noble, many peasants going all the way back to throwing stone spears at mastedons in North America. SOUL does it all before graduating (which I hope to do in this life)
@thoughtgorger "Anyone here reincarnte please tell me if you did." That's an unfair question. The memories are in the confines of your subconscious, not your long-term memory.
1 minute ago PLEASE DONT READ THIS. YOU WILL GET KISSED ON THE NEAREST POSSIBE FRIDAY BY THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE. TOMORROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. In places where reincarnation is accepted, children remembering parts of past lives is not usually at all. Why? B/c that's how life works, in cycles, just like everything else in nature.
NOW LISTEN IT'S FOR ALL, REINCARNATION IS NOTHIN, THESE R ONLY OLD MEMORY BLOCKS WHICH WE R CARRIN BY OUR BLOODLINE, THE MEMORY CELLZ OF OUR GRANDFATHER,GREATGRANDFATHER,GREATGREAT GRANDFATHER AND SO ON THERE IS NO SUCH A THIN AS REINCARNATION THINK ONE THIN CAREFULLY IF WE CAN CARRY SOME ATTITUDES FROM THE CHROMOSOMEZ OF OUR PARENTS THEN WHY CANT WE CARRY THERE MEMORIES, MEMORIES R FLOWIN MEN TO MEN BY BLOODLINES FROM THE BEGININ IF U R CONFUSED THEN ASK UR SELF WHY THE POPULATION IS INCREASIN
@AwantedNinja "There's nothing to explain." No. It explains itself. You say the five year old cannot explain such intricate events, yet the five year old did.
@AwantedNinja if you need proof then you are obviously inept in matters of the spirit. A friend of mine has been practicing shamanism for almost 20 years now and he describes the white man to me as spiritually forsaken. I grew up in a religion-less family and even from a scientific standpoint reincarnation tends to make sense. According to one of the basic laws of energy nothing is created nor destroyed. The spirit is the same thing, a form of animate energy. maybe do some research...
@AwantedNinja or maybe some soul searching before you refute things you cant comprehend. White people and americans especially are less inclined to believe in things like reincarnation because you are born into distraction, not to mention western science instills a sense of unfaltering skepticism, which isn't always bad but in today's age we are at a time when spirituality and science are merging like never before. The western world is so disconnected it's pathetic.
@stoltobot I take it you are a westerner. If you had been born in, lets say... India, you would know that karmic reaction and the science of karma are a part of the required curriculum to get your Ph.D. So in a way science and spiritualism have been connected for a small amount of time. A more solid example would be any research done by Dr. Rick Strassman and his colleagues. I'm not going to go any further citing examples. Now use your ability to research, learn, and come to conclusions.
It takes 47 days for a soul to enter a material body from the spirit world according to vedic scripture written 10000 years ago. Exactly the amount of days it takes for a pineal gland (what some consider the seat of the soul) to develop and a gender to be determined in a growing fetus. Coincidence? Maybe... Too bad western culture doesn't study karmic reaction and reincarnation whereas in India these are required courses for a PhD.
Yes I truly believe that the ancient asian cosmologies were far more realistic and accurate concerning the reality of the soul and the afterlife than any so called material science of today
Reincarnation is an interesting topic for debate but far from fact?, it cannot be proved or disproved due to nits very nature, even though i have a vested interest ( my late father peter on strange but true ) that doesent make me a beliver how can it?.. Millions of people worship many gods so that deals with our friends belief below that millions cant be wrong?, oh yes they can!...my belief is this - nothing wrong in believing in an after life as long as you live this life to the full..
@Shkarya Indeed it was taken out during the Council of Nicea meeting AD 325 by the Roman Emperor Constantine. They were afraid if we knew we got another chance to make things right, they couldn't control us, take our tithe $. Most modern Christian don't know this.
Reincarnation is an interesting topic that is believed by millions of people and religions around the world!, of course it cannot be proven but thats not really the point its interesting that hypnosis and regression seems to bring about these past life experiences in great detail?, Surely a desire for an after life is no bad or strange desire?, i would say that people who do believe are far from scared of reality!, surely its a win win situation if right or wrong?
@phulme61 reincarnation is fact but you have to be ready to except it , someone on there last incarnation is more likeley to believe in reincarnation where assomeone on there 50 incarnation may not becuase the one with 200 hundred lives has learnt a great deal more from different religions and different expereinces, its all about spiritual growth and god will not give you wisdom untill you are ready
@phulme61 the whole point of reincarantion is to bring you back to the understanding that you are a being of unconditional love, onece apon a time we all new that , yet we feel from grace a long time ago and life after life we have to re-member what we onceforgot it takesmany lives. buit fear not becuase your soul has mulitpul incarnations as many as needed to learn
@phulme61 what must be understood is that the soul is not restricted to single incarnations it has many incarnations at the same time , the soul in my body now is the same soul as a buddhist monk in indioa right now and im also on the earth in many different places right now learning different lessons vital for the growth of my over soul
@phulme61 i am broke with income support whilst other incarnations of my soul are millionaires and they are living nice lives whilst i dont even have my own home, this may seem unfair at at first i felt it was but it matters not becuase all that matters is that we serve the greater good of our over soul , if we went back to heaven unhealed we would feel incomplete
@phulme61 the human soul can be likeneed to an oniopn , the main part of the onion is in heaven yet rings of that onion incarnate into phisical bodies each ring has the same d.n.a as the other rings but incarnates into a different physical body
@EvilZeroSc now you walk the path your walking, you will never be in a place your not suppoosed to be in and you would not even be here on this page unless there was a gift for you to learn from .
just carry on as you are and opportunities and learning expereinces willopen up for you at later dates, follow yourinnerguidance
Your an idiot, Configurations, Reincarnation is as real today as it ever was, all of the wisest most advanced individuals in the ancient world believed in Reincarnation and the Soul and the Afterlife because it existed and the problem is most human beings nowadays tend to regard reincarnation as false because they have forgotten their true nature as immortal spirit bodies

Because it is a product of it.
buddhasknowbest 3 months ago

TheAstroboy9 5 months ago

Which is all a waste of time and effort.
DarkRezo 10 months ago

ScientificBob 11 months ago
With all do respect, ScientificBob, all that science has discovered existed before science discovered it. Science is a validation for those who seek such validation. Those who believe in reincarnation are confident in what they believe. It is those who don't who want evidence. Thus, if you're searching for evidence, how is that our problem? There is evidence, but it is evidence you're unwilling to accept because it cannot be in inputted into your system. @ScientificBob
RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 That was hilariously fallacious.
So it's true because you believe it? Hahaha.
ScientificBob 11 months ago

RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 "And it's not true because the evidence doesn't mold to your system" Wrong. Rather: there is no reason to think it's true, because there is NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER to suggest that it is.

RainWolf20 11 months ago

Guilt needs to be proven. If there is NO evidence whatsoever to suggest guilt, then they shouldn't be on deathrow. Durrrrr

It goes: "innocent until proven guilty". I realise that that is a tiny thing they tend to forget in the US sometimes.
Innocence doesn't need to be proven. Guilt is what needs to be proven.
ScientificBob 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 Just like non-existance doesn't need to be proven (it even CAN'T be proven... how do you prove that X does NOT exist??? It's impossible). EXISTANCE needs to be proven.
If you claim a soul exists: you need to prove this claim.
Burden of proof and all...
ScientificBob 11 months ago
Existance needs to be proved according to who? Science freaks? Those who base their life off evidence? Don't take yourself so seriously, man. You're a bunch of uptight people. Must I repeat it again? Why bother. Burden of proof? You act as if you're entitled to proof. You are aware that YOU are the one demanding evidence and not the person who believes? @ScientificBob
RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 "Existance needs to be proved according to who" According to everybody who actually cares whether ot not their take on reality is actually correct.
"You are aware that YOU are the one demanding evidence and not the person who believes" Weird isn't it? Anyhow, so what? Your beliefs inform your actions... If you believe stupid shit on face value, then that DOES concern the rest of us - since those stupid beliefs might inform your actions.
ScientificBob 11 months ago
Those who believe in the unproven are perfectly content because it makes sense to them. And then those seeking evidence budge in and demand it. You're not entilted to evidence. And if someone wants to believe in an absurdity that's unproven, let them. @ScientificBob
RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 " And if someone wants to believe in an absurdity that's unproven, let them" Why? I really don't understand this about 21ste century society. WHY the FUCK is it considered a GOOD thing to leave people in their ignorance?

I can't digest how followers of science drop by the reincarnation videos and stress how there's "no evidence" and proceed to belittle those who believe it when they come up empty handed. YOU are the one who wants evidence. YOU. You might as well be belitting yourself. @ScientificBob
RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 "YOU are the one who wants evidence" Actually, no. I don't really care for it. You know why? Because I know there is no evidence of obvious bullshit. Do you really think that I expect to get anything from you? Off course not.

ScientificBob 11 months ago
Youu science freaks should stop shoving your tiny box of scientific agenda over people's head. We don't care that you feel you're entilted to evidence. We don't care that you need evidence to confirm OUR beliefs. It's your problem, not ours. The "if there's no evidence, it doesn't exist" is only invalid inside the minds of those who desire evidence.
RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 "Youu science freaks should stop shoving your tiny box of scientific agenda over people's head" What agenda? Science is a methodology to find out how stuff works... not a dogma or doctrine...
""if there's no evidence, it doesn't exist" Why do you ignore what I say? I never claimed this and never will. What I said was: if there's no evidence, then there is no reason to believe it. That's not the same as saying that it doesn't exist.
ScientificBob 11 months ago
@ScientificBob
But there is a great deal of evidence to suggest it exists and modern day science is fundamentally flawed so it doesnt matter whether or not science of today has conclusively proven whether the soul or reincarnation exists or not
gatheringleaves 11 months ago
@gatheringleaves "there is a great deal of evidence to suggest it exists " Name 2 examples that are not anecdotal.
" modern day science is fundamentally flawed " Explain? Because my pc, robots on mars, airplanes, nuclear stations, flue vaccins, hearth transplantations, etc etc etc seem to disagree with that statement.
ScientificBob 11 months ago
@ScientificBob Isn't testimony evidence to you?
costasb5 10 months ago
You don't know that reincarnation doesn't exist, and neither do we. We're in the same boat. But those who believe it can connect with it, and that's the only "evidence" they need.
The same goes for those who've seen ghost. Someone like yourself would demand evidence. Those who've seen a ghost KNOWS damn well they seen a ghost, but cannot explain it. Does that mean ghost don't exist? No. It means YOU need evidence to convince yourself. Do you see how this is your problem? *sigh* @ScientificBob
RainWolf20 11 months ago
@RainWolf20 "Those who've seen a ghost KNOWS damn well they seen a ghost, but cannot explain it. Does that mean ghost don't exist? No" When people see things that other people can't see... that's halucination. If this happens without taking drugs and stuff, it's best to go see a shrink. With the meds, these people stop seeing things that other people can't see. Like I said: the brain is a sensitive organ that WILL deceive us. This is why independent confirmation is important.
ScientificBob 11 months ago

No, I have seen a ghost before and It wasn't a hallucination, my entire family saw the same thing, and none of us take medication or are crazy your and idiot and closeminded
gatheringleaves 11 months ago
@gatheringleaves "my entire family saw the same thing"
Be honest here. What's more likely? That you actually saw a ghost, or that you all saw something you didn't understand and misinterpreted?
Why is it that all ghost stories are anecdotal? Why is it that we always need to simply take people's word for it?
ScientificBob 11 months ago
@ScientificBob Isn't testimony evidence to you? Your choice. This is superstition, though. You are rejecting
other people's experience and findings just because you have not read about it somewhere or seen it yourself. You sound just like the Inquisition.
costasb5 10 months ago
@costasb5 You make no sense whatsoever.
ScientificBob 10 months ago
@ScientificBob I am not surprised I am not making sense to *you*, buddy. Galileo didn't make any sense to the Inquisition either. I see you argue with everyone on this site. Your super bright all-knowing scientific mind dismissing everyone's testimony and trashing us all. Bravo, nice crusade my friend. Relax now and if you want to be honest with yourself say "I don't really know either" and continue your life in peace and let the rest of us all suffer our mass fatal deception here. In peace.
costasb5 10 months ago
@costasb5 Galileo could actually prove what he was saying. Which is different then just claiming it.
That's why you aren't making any sense with your "testimony" argument.
Testimonies (anecdotes) are CLAIMS. Claims need to be substantiated. Galileo could substantiate his claims without using his claims to do it. You can't.
ScientificBob 10 months ago
@ScientificBob we may not be able to prove this now, but don't be jumpy to dismiss it. are you religious or something like that? we are just starting to explore the limits of what we now call "reality" and it's weirder than anyone can imagine... scientifically speaking, u can't proof even your own existence
defphoenix 10 months ago
@defphoenix An usubstantiated claim which is not verifiable is just that: a silly claim.
Accepting such extra-ordinary claims is morronic, irrational, stupid.
ie: "you can't prove santa claus is not real, so don't be so dismissive".
Hilarious. Newsflash: a claim is not accepted by default until proven otherwise, quite the contrary in fact.
ScientificBob 10 months ago
@ScientificBob this isn't the case to compare reincarnation to santa claus. first of all: have you tried remembering your past lifes and you came to the conclusion that reincarnation it is not valid? it's not a matter of logic, it's not a matter of spirituality, it's a matter of understanding the human subconscious. the other 90% of your brain. how can these testimonials are not verifiable, does it seem natural to you that a child should know such things?
defphoenix 10 months ago
@defphoenix "it's not a matter of logic" At least you say something we can both agree on. Logic is far to be found in the things you say.
Your brain IS who you are, this is biological and neurological fact. No brain, no person.
Prove that a person is something more then a brain and then we can talk again. Until you do, your claims are classified in the same category as alien abduction, bigfoot, thor and santa claus.
ScientificBob 10 months ago
@ScientificBob are you saying that you are who you are because of the biological matter inside your head? because of your genome? because of some chemical reactions between your synapses? you cannot explain this way the human behaviour, his desires, his talents or stuff like that? If you were defined as a person only by your brain, twins would behave absolutely the same, which is not the case...so there must be something else there....
defphoenix 10 months ago
@defphoenix "are you saying that you are who you are because of the biological matter inside your head?" Yes. There is no reason to think otherwise.
" twins would behave absolutely the same" No. This shows that you have no idea how a brain works. Apparantly you have never heared of neural networks. They are not identical in twins, they can't be by defenition.

He cites sources and there are plenty of others that reinforce this claim although none share the same motives for it's removal.

@AwantedNinja What do you mean unicorns don't exist? :O
RainWolf20 1 year ago
@AwantedNinja "I can't believe something if I don't have proof for it." ~Do you see how this is your problem and not mine?
RainWolf20 1 year ago
@RainWolf20 This is your problem because you would believe someone if they said unicorns existed when they obviously don't.
AwantedNinja 1 year ago
@AwantedNinja It can be proved.
RainWolf20 1 year ago
@RainWolf20 Show me then. I can't believe something if I don't have proof for it. That's not how life works. Just like I don't believe in a unicorn because there is simply no proof, I don't believe this 5 year old kid talking about his past life.

well it's an accepted "fact" in eastern religion (hinduism, buddhism, jainism) that there is a repeated cycle of birth and death and your next life is decided by your karma. We are not this body but living soul and just like we change clothes when it get's dirty/old, in the same way we leave this body and get another new body (can be any living entity - human, animal, plants). Bhagavad gita, the authority book, on this subject confirms this in chapter 2 verse 13.

anyone here reincarnate tell me if you did!!
thoughtgorger 1 year ago
@thoughtgorger I think we've all reincarnated, whether we believe it or not.
wintercherry100 1 year ago
@thoughtgorger I hope yours is a sincere request. Yes, I have recalled numerous past lives, as my religion ECKANKAR, teaches about the purpose of life being that SOUL is sent to worlds like Earth, to grow and learn. It takes many lifetimes to develop the full DIVINE POTENTIAL of SOUL, as it takes many classes for a student to go from 1st grade to Senior. My first recall was triggered by an emotional breakup. I found myself back in the Old West as a preacher, going thru the same breakup then.
Planomoran 1 year ago
part 2...I couldn't quite let go of the pain and attachment of that episode, so I had to go thru a version of it this life (with the same person) in order to move on.

In places where reincarnation is accepted, children remembering parts of past lives is not usually at all. Why? B/c that's how life works, in cycles, just like everything else in nature.

This is bullshit, no 5 year old can describe something like that.
AwantedNinja 1 year ago
@AwantedNinja "no 5 year old can describe something like that." EXACTLY! Lmao. Explain it.
RainWolf20 1 year ago
@RainWolf20 There's nothing to explain... It's bullshit.
AwantedNinja 1 year ago
@AwantedNinja "There's nothing to explain." No. It explains itself. You say the five year old cannot explain such intricate events, yet the five year old did.
RainWolf20 1 year ago
@RainWolf20 Prove it.
AwantedNinja 1 year ago
@AwantedNinja if you need proof then you are obviously inept in matters of the spirit. A friend of mine has been practicing shamanism for almost 20 years now and he describes the white man to me as spiritually forsaken. I grew up in a religion-less family and even from a scientific standpoint reincarnation tends to make sense. According to one of the basic laws of energy nothing is created nor destroyed. The spirit is the same thing, a form of animate energy. maybe do some research...
NTravitz 1 year ago
@AwantedNinja or maybe some soul searching before you refute things you cant comprehend. White people and americans especially are less inclined to believe in things like reincarnation because you are born into distraction, not to mention western science instills a sense of unfaltering skepticism, which isn't always bad but in today's age we are at a time when spirituality and science are merging like never before. The western world is so disconnected it's pathetic.
NTravitz 1 year ago
@NTravitz please give me some example of hoe science and spiritualism are converging?
stoltobot 1 year ago
@stoltobot I take it you are a westerner. If you had been born in, lets say... India, you would know that karmic reaction and the science of karma are a part of the required curriculum to get your Ph.D. So in a way science and spiritualism have been connected for a small amount of time. A more solid example would be any research done by Dr. Rick Strassman and his colleagues. I'm not going to go any further citing examples. Now use your ability to research, learn, and come to conclusions.
NTravitz 1 year ago
It takes 47 days for a soul to enter a material body from the spirit world according to vedic scripture written 10000 years ago. Exactly the amount of days it takes for a pineal gland (what some consider the seat of the soul) to develop and a gender to be determined in a growing fetus. Coincidence? Maybe... Too bad western culture doesn't study karmic reaction and reincarnation whereas in India these are required courses for a PhD.
NTravitz 1 year ago
Yes I truly believe that the ancient asian cosmologies were far more realistic and accurate concerning the reality of the soul and the afterlife than any so called material science of today

Reincarnation is an interesting topic for debate but far from fact?, it cannot be proved or disproved due to nits very nature, even though i have a vested interest ( my late father peter on strange but true ) that doesent make me a beliver how can it?.. Millions of people worship many gods so that deals with our friends belief below that millions cant be wrong?, oh yes they can!...my belief is this - nothing wrong in believing in an after life as long as you live this life to the full..
phulme61 1 year ago
Reincarnation and Karma were once a part of Christian religion too until 4 or 5 century when they deleted it from teachings.
Now Christianity is teaching us IGNORANCE.
Shkarya 1 year ago 48
@Shkarya Indeed it was taken out during the Council of Nicea meeting AD 325 by the Roman Emperor Constantine. They were afraid if we knew we got another chance to make things right, they couldn't control us, take our tithe $. Most modern Christian don't know this.

Reincarnation is an interesting topic that is believed by millions of people and religions around the world!, of course it cannot be proven but thats not really the point its interesting that hypnosis and regression seems to bring about these past life experiences in great detail?, Surely a desire for an after life is no bad or strange desire?, i would say that people who do believe are far from scared of reality!, surely its a win win situation if right or wrong?
phulme61 1 year ago 2
@phulme61 reincarnation is fact but you have to be ready to except it , someone on there last incarnation is more likeley to believe in reincarnation where assomeone on there 50 incarnation may not becuase the one with 200 hundred lives has learnt a great deal more from different religions and different expereinces, its all about spiritual growth and god will not give you wisdom untill you are ready
AwsomWarrior 1 year ago
@phulme61 the whole point of reincarantion is to bring you back to the understanding that you are a being of unconditional love, onece apon a time we all new that , yet we feel from grace a long time ago and life after life we have to re-member what we onceforgot it takesmany lives. buit fear not becuase your soul has mulitpul incarnations as many as needed to learn
AwsomWarrior 1 year ago
@phulme61 what must be understood is that the soul is not restricted to single incarnations it has many incarnations at the same time , the soul in my body now is the same soul as a buddhist monk in indioa right now and im also on the earth in many different places right now learning different lessons vital for the growth of my over soul
AwsomWarrior 1 year ago
@phulme61 i am broke with income support whilst other incarnations of my soul are millionaires and they are living nice lives whilst i dont even have my own home, this may seem unfair at at first i felt it was but it matters not becuase all that matters is that we serve the greater good of our over soul , if we went back to heaven unhealed we would feel incomplete
AwsomWarrior 1 year ago
@phulme61 the human soul can be likeneed to an oniopn , the main part of the onion is in heaven yet rings of that onion incarnate into phisical bodies each ring has the same d.n.a as the other rings but incarnates into a different physical body
AwsomWarrior 1 year ago
Haha people who believe in this rubbish are obviously afraid to die GROW A PAIR !

Help others to come to that realisation too.
Raise up from below, don't pull from above.
The best teachers exercise humility because they know they're there for others, not for themselves.

NFLMaster09 1 year ago
Your an idiot, Configurations, Reincarnation is as real today as it ever was, all of the wisest most advanced individuals in the ancient world believed in Reincarnation and the Soul and the Afterlife because it existed and the problem is most human beings nowadays tend to regard reincarnation as false because they have forgotten their true nature as immortal spirit bodies
