For me bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Dio, Pantera and all these bands that have left their mark on Metal history and have influenced it as well are generally better than Disturbed. But Disturbed is just my favorite band and it has something that attracts me even more than the other bands... its their music combined with David's unique vocals and their awesome lyrically songs. But it doesn't matter which band is best. What matters is that we all love METAL! \m/

Those bands are seen as having more of a mark on metal/rock simply because they were innovators in a time when their wasn't as many bands out there. Now bands pop up all over the place, and to stand out you have to do really separate yourself, and I think thats something disturbed has done great. Very few bands can I listen to the whole CD and say, "yep thats all great", Disturbed is one of those bands.
