What I'm trying to say is that even though the MLS isn't the best league in itself, it can still be a good beginning ground for players with the capacity to go play in Europe and it's also a good way to get more fans, by bringing in the big name clubs that everyone knows, even if the biggest players aren't out there.

@MrAsshole948 Chelsea doesn't need to expand...I was talking about the MLS in general; when people (specifically non-MLS but soccer supporters, yet could also include non-soccer fans) see the big-named clubs come in and see the MLS's best players give them a run for their money, it's a good way to expand the fan base of the league and help people realize there are options to watch soccer closer to where they live rather than across the sea in Europe.

Some are playing in lesser known leagues, but some Americans are on Premier League sides, Dempsey featuring in the Confederations Cup final, the 2010 Europa League final. Landon Donovan fit perfectly into Everton and even Phil Neville is asking him to stay. Jozy Altidore may have a shit first touch at the moment but he's only 20 when you consider how bad the coaching is in the USA

@mayena unlike the FA and EPL, each club in the USA has a say in what goes. Which means the lower talent clubs would NEVER impose sure relegation on themselves. It's like signing up to lose massive amounts of money. Relegation and Promotion would have had to have been established at the beginning of MLS. Now, unless they invite 4 or 5 USL teams just so they can be relegated, it's probably not going to happen.

every team is made up of foregin players, mls mainly has old people its usually a retirement league for many players, it takes a whole team of supposably talent, to gather up and play a pro team think about that, no mls team can beat a pro team, only Mexican, brazilian and argentine teams can beat team from europe or around the world, MLS has a LONG way to go

Well, I would agree with you except we were brought up with American Football not European.
