Hello Yuan and thank you. Wonderful composition by SD. MD Roshan loved it so much, that he used it in some film and I can't recall the name sung Asha and later in 1966 Mamta "Rahein Na Rahein Hum". Words by Sahir are very romantic. Though Sahir was introduced by Dev Anand from film Baazi as as writer but most people don't know that this was Sahir's very first film song ever.

Naliniji... one of the most beautiful charming woman I've everseen. I saw only two film of her sangram and kalapani the first one with Ashok Kumar such a magnificent movie. Rip Naliniji!!!

Naliniji passed away peacefully at her residence of over 60 years at Union Park, Chembur, Mumbai on the afternoon of Monday, 20th December, 2010

After the demise of her husband Prabhu Dayal, few years back, she had become a virtual recluse, interacting with virtually no one in the film industry and just 2 people in her neighbourhood.

She was stunningly beautiful even at the age of 80+.

An ardent dog lover, even in old age she drove her car to feed street dogs every afternoon.

I am a Sri Lankan too. Nalini Jayawant is my favourite actress. I am very much sad to know that she is no more. My first filim ever was Jadoo and next was Shabistan. I loved both Nalini and Nasheem and thought Nalini rated first.

I had no opportunity to see Naujawan because we had a nasty wardan in the school boarding.
