The great Arif Mardin's (RIP) string arrangement is just right, it doesn't overwhelm Phil Collins or the song itself. Just as Eric Clapton's guitar also isn't overplayed, this is just Phil's best, IMHO. The "sounds" between the music, the silence really speaks out here. Thank you for this!

i used to play this song all the time ,, when my wife left me for someone else,, i loved her with all my heart, we were together for 10 years, i miss her so much it,s been 5 years now, and she,s still on my mind, the drugs don,t help, or the drink,. she was wonderful, hope she found everything she wanted, i love her
