Another way for Subnetting taking same Net ID like above of Class C 192.168.1.0/24 255.0.0.0 Network bits=24 Host=8 Required Subnets=4 so we take 4 bits from host and for that 2^2=4 so add 2 in network bits and minus from host. N=24+2=26 H=8-2=6 No of Subnets=2^2=4 No of Host/Subnet=2^6=64 Now start from 0 and add 64 till or equal 255 0-64-128-192 Now Require Subnets are 192.168.1.0/26 192.168.1.64/26 192.168.1.128/26 192.168.1.192/26
