uninspiring photos. especially martha, to me, she always looks like she's 40! i think it's her hair, how the dark roots contrast with the bleach and make her look like she's greying badly, and the cut is just icky. the emotions are so lacking though, how hard is it to look angry? haven't these girls ever experienced anything before?

America's Next Top Model is sooooo much better than the Britain version. I feel like the photos are horrible and I don't think the judges know what they are talking about!!!! It's very frustrating because some of these girls seem to have a lot of potential but I think it's all lost on this show.

Bntm is generally no way near as good as antm. There's a load of private schooled girls who are popular and reckon that means that means they can be a model, when in reality, they have no talent at all. It seems like none of the girls are putting any effort in at this point though to be honest though

I don't like these pictures. I don't like the concept of the photo series either, it's not very interesting, nor are the scenarios particularly fashion-forward. It would've been much more fashionable to me to see the girls stumbling out of a nightclub in the early hours of the morning, looking like a hot mess, a la Lindsay Lohan and Kate Moss and other celebrity bad girls, while still giving great model angles... basically, whoever comes up with the photoshoots needs to buck up their ideas...

I'm pissed about Muasyrah (spl?) She's the only black girl and she's not very attractive. I'm glad BNTM, CNTM, and ANTM cast black girls as AusNTM hasn't since the first cycle, but they could've chosen a much prettier black girl. I feel they just plopped her into the comp as a token. I'm disappointed.

i totally agree with gummiworkjess... trying to put this as delicately as possible... Australia is fairly mixed up but it is still a majority of white people.. the chances of representing every race in a competition of 14 girls would be very difficult not to mention unfair if the producers were obligated to choose girls because of their race rather than their potential.

I was listing the other TMs and AusNTM was just a sidebar mention. I'm aware of the lack of cultural variety in Aus, thank you. I'm just saying for BNTM, they could've chosen a prettier black girl. I'm sure there were prettier black girls than Muasyrah who auditioned as well as prettier white girls. It's as if they chose her knowing they'd get rid of her fast. Then again, how can I expect them to choose based upon beauty? The calibur of these girls speaks volums.

You know what's really buggin' me? The judge's critiques are so weak. "We want more" "Give us what you've got" "you didn't get it" Why don't they say something the girls can actually USE???? Like... "Show us a range of expressions from sad to mad to happy to scared in each photo shoot" "Don't be afraid to try something unusual. We'll tell you if it's not working." "You didn't understand the concept of the shoot, did you? Ask for help when you need it. Sheesh! How hard would that be???
