Buble burst here. I loved Quadrophenia, but this ending was 'stolen' from the movie Harold and Maude. Compare the endings of both films, you'll see the similarities.

I agree. A complete Harold and Maude ripoff that has less impact compared to Harold's Jaguar Hearse flying off a cliff and crashing more dramatically.
