  • TA DAO!!

  • I went to MU and I've heard that Pitt left because he was accused of cheating and steadfastly denied it; and that he go so pissed, he ended up just leaving, which would explain why he seems reluctant to associate himself with the University of Missouri.

Students don't randomly withdraw from one of the best journalism programs in the country with only two weeks to go without a reason.

  • hahhha.. i love it when he called it the Brad Pitt Technique.

  • You guys suck. All you do is try to scare people from dropping out. You don't need school to succeed.

  • he should go back and complete just for the sake of it. im guessing someone promised hima big gig that would make him super rich and he jumped at it. also im guessing there were no online classes back them so he could kill 2 birds with one stone. anyways...

  • He was at the right place at the right time

  • @ruffhouse00x Thats always been a bunch of shit for me because it ignores the most important factor: knowing how to act.

Even if Steven Spielberg walks into your cafe and sits at the table you are serving and you happen to get a chance to talk to him and he finds out you are an actor and you just happen to look exactly like what Spielberg imagined the main character for his new movie would look like and he offers you a time and place to audition, if you can't act all of that is irrelevant.

  • @Hamhark98 Well its all irrelevnt too if you didnt show up to work that day or if you didnt work there either you would have never met Steven Speilberg in the first place. Beisdes knowing how to act doesnt promise you a successful film career becuase lots of people cant act nor look the part and are famous today, look at most of the bullshit Hollywood throws out at us.

  • u got to do what u got to do

  • What an idiot.

  • arrogance. what a douchebag.

  • @mavishill how's that aroogance or douchebagy? he didn't finish and he knew exactly what he's good at (obviously acting) and he might have had a standing offer already. As to why he didn't go back to finish the 2 credits, seriously? why would he bother wasting time to finish something as useless as a piece of paper that means nothing to him when he can star in another movie?

  • Jayar's from Detroit, but he's wearing an OSU shirt? smh. Go Blue.

  • @alashabibti and he went to USC...

  • He went up and started Operation Mayhem

  • listen guys thats not true. u really think that really happened. yes anna your right . he did have something in his back pocket. look at him now. if your confident that u will achieve something u will.

  • Brad Pitt is from Shawnee, OK so it makes sense why me made the dumbass decision to drop out.

  • If I gamble up my life savings and manage to win a million dollars, I'm still nothing more than a lucky idiot.

  • @Fr0ggeh86 I'd rather be lucky in life than smart.

  • Why can't he just admit that it was a poor decision but LUCKILY he made it big, there's no way he could know that for sure.

I'm very curious as to what his answer be if the interviewer asked him "so if your kid would want to leave university with two weeks left to graduation because it felt right, that would be ok?"

  • Yeah that was a stupid move because if he didnt make it then he wouldve been out on his ass with nothing. However, he is rich as hell now so i guess it worked out?

  • Brad Pitt is a F-ing Moron.

  • I dropped out and I hate myself for doing that.

I missed so many chances just because I had no degree.

    What a moron I was!

  • I guess those extra 2 weeks was really worth it lol.

  • I don't know how many people I met over the years that dropped out before graduation. None of them became Brad Pitt.

  • Brad Pitt is a good actor? um, he only became famous because he took off his shirt in "Thelma and Louise". If it wasn't for his look, can you say EPIC FAIL

  • @ERAUPRCWA Fight Club, seven, inglorious bastards, etc, etc.

He is one of the best current actors. He really is amazing.

  • @ERAUPRCWA Although I think he was, and still probably is, a dumbass, I can't deny that he IS a good actor. Just watch Inglorious Basterds or Fight Club...

  • I am jack's facepalm

  • Being attractive is #1 on the list of desired strengths for any actor. Brad Pitt is consistently voted among the most attractive men on the planet.

I don't think it's hard to do the math on this one.

  • Maybe he was already failing in that semester, so when opportunities open up, he packs up and go!

  • Unfortunately I've known and known of people that do that. It's so stupid with that short amount of time to just to throw it all away like that.

  • Unfortunately I've known and known of people that do that. It's so stupid with that short amount of time to just to throw it all away like that.

  • Oh stop picking on him! Maybe in truth he realized it is a shit university and that degree wouldn't be worth the paper it was written on! ;P

  • you can tell how badly the econimy is going by how hot the wait staff is. the hotter they are the more models and acters are out of work.

  • Reminds me of the old joke that goes around in LA. "What do you do for a living?" "I am an actor." "Oh....What restaurant do you work at?"

  • No matter how successful he is.. I still think it's ridiculous to quit Uni because you're scared of getting a job. Finish the degree, then don't take a job, whatever.. but not getting your degree when you can, and you're that close.. just stupid.

  • That is why he is successful.

  • wow, he's cool. -.-

  • The man followed his dream. I could never discourage someone for doing that, within reason.

Had he finished and left for LA then, he could have easily quit during difficult times and get a day job, and then one of my favorite actors and my favorite movies wouldn't have existed.

  • I'm surprised the university didn't just hand him the degree making up something just so they could claim that he graduated from there. I agree that he wouldn't have earned it that way, but it's clear he has no real incentive to go back. There's only a few exceptions of millionaires going back to finish their degrees, and the only example I can think of is Steve Wozniak.

  • Not everyone is Brad Pitt. Enough said. Did he write his finals?

  • I always knew Brad Pitt was a moron.

  • Only 2 weeks??? Retard..

  • @ElegeantFencer Now he's a millionaire. I guess YOU'RE the retard.

  • @Viktir666 Just because he became a millionaire doesnt mean everyone gets to be one just by simply skipping college. As Ana and Jayar already mentioned, he must've had some gig already set up before he made plans to skip college. The point of my statement was that you might want to finish those last two weeks because it is only a blink of an eye, and can be really useful in case you dont make it big immediately.

  • @ElegeantFencer I would personally finish those last 2 weeks. I did finish actually. I didn't even get the job that is even remotely close to what I studied though. Sometimes college is pointless. Sometimes it's a must.

  • owner of rim (makers of blackberry) dropped out of uni of waterloo with less than a month left of grad, for a million dollar job. the uni gave him an honorary degree years later, the same should be done with brad pitt if the uni was offering to take him back

  • He probably already had a contract ready.

  • Any moron who believes that they can emulate Brad Pitt's example is too moronic to be in a university in the first place. If they idolize this sort of behavior, I would rather that they not graduate, because I don't want someone coming out of college who is such a poor decision maker. It just makes other degree holders look bad.'

  • Lady Gaga did it too. She dropped out of NYU her freshman year to pursue music

  • @tookthenight Yeah, but she wasn't two weeks shy of getting her degree. But she must have had something in her back pocket as well.

  • @tookthenight Yeah, but that's freshman year...Brad Pitt did it before he was going to graduate, which was really stupid.

  • Yes, Detroit!!!!!

  • Well he's not setting an example for anyone. Follow your own path. Have a mind of your own. It's a bit odd that he didn't finish his last 2 weeks, but no one knows what his situation was back at the time, so it's stupid for you all to jump on his cock and attack him.

  • lol that's so true in LA here. I'd say about 70-80% of the waiters, servers, bartenders, etc. you talk to say they moonlight as actors.

  • For the gifted, college isn't necessary. Just don't go assuming you're gifted.

  • That Block O is sooo sexy.

  • he dropped out of school that late and he became successful anyway...he's a lucky son of a bitch.

  • eh....bill gates dropped out of Harvard

  • Wow, that was a really stupid, risky move. But yet he made it...big time...

  • What a fucking retard. 99.999999999% of people who do that EPIC FUCKING FAIL AT LIFE, what a bad fucking example. I don't give a shit if he did it, you shouldn't do that. What a fucking waste. smfh.

  • @MrHav1k He's famous and rich

    Hate more hater

  • @MrHav1k Ten, two. Ten, two, my friend.

  • @MrHav1k So jealous of him

  • Even though he made it he's still a dumbass if you leave just before graduation.

  • dat stretched shirt ....

  • first!
