  • im having almost the same problem with my 03 silverado but all gauges only stop working after it rains.after a couple of weeks of no rain they turn back on.......during the time when they are not working the engine light is on

  • Forget my question:D i made a fool out of my selv. I think i Got it now:) or else ill get back to you:) the only dif on our dashes is that all your gauges is with screws. Not mine. The Fuel and the temp gauge is not with screws. So im not sure how to make Them sit tight.

  • I Got a 94 accord, and i want to change the back Ground of the speedometer. (dont know what its called) but what i wanna ask you is how i take off the needle so that i Can replace the background? I Got some White ones that reminds og yours. But i Can der you Got 2 sets. The original and the White ones. Both with needles on. I only got 1 set With the orginal black background. But i wanna replace it with the White ones. But i cant get the needle off?

    Thanks alot mate:)

  • can you send me the song cant find it

  • What was the first song called?

  • @jtc7233 "DJ Xerx - Evil Genius" shoot me a message if want it. ;-)

  • Was it hard to take out the gauge from the car?

  • thanks.

  • Yes, they all go crazy at the same time. They go up and down, sometime they stay working and there are times that they stay all down doing nothing in the whole trip. No lights at all are on, not even the check engine light. I thought about my transmision sensor but in thid case is every single gauge.

  • @lolopli1 I'm not really sure what could cause that. Some solutions are a screwed up fuse. Maybe the connection harness behind the gauge is messed up. Maybe you have gauges that are connected in series(think about Christmas lights) that if one gauge goes out, then other ones go out. Different gauges talk to other parts of the car. For instance, if you speed sensor is out, your transmission may have problems. They communicate with each other and work together.

  • Hey do you know what can be wrong on my 01 honda accord, all the gauges stop working dont move at all , then all of the sudden they do work again on and off and sometimes off for long time?

  • @lolopli1 "ALL" the gauges? That is interesting. For me, my speedometer once stopped working on an off. Like it would sorta go up and down. The problem was my speed sensor. Your car has a speed sensor attached to the transmission. It may be that, but that wouldn't stop the entire cluster form working. It would only stop the speedometer form working. Is your check engine light on? Did they all stop working all at once or start shutting off gauge by gauge?

  • @lolopli1 I am not sure what your case would be because you said the entire cluster stops working all at once. Try getting a hand on a diagnostic system. Just because the check engine light doesn't show up on your gauge cluster doesn't mean that the check engine light function hasn't turned on on your computer.

  • @CarMods101 perhaps a fuse?

  • @jadi929 It wouldn't be a fuse because if it were a blown fuse, the gauges wouldn't start working again. A fuse melts when it blows and doesn't make contact anymore, so the fuse is gone forever.
