really good tech right there but i dont think its "hologram". Unless if there was no glass/screen and there's a ray of light popping up at the bottom upwards which then forms the 3D hologram..
ok first... that isn't a hologram... it is a OLED screen... second processor has little to do with graphic rendering, that is what a GPU is for... um... yea... GPU... and OLED...
The processors are pretty nice, but the display seems to attract more attention.
It look cool, though technology is pretty standard.
The glass seems to a special type of tinted glass (pseudo one way glass?), a rear end laser projector (either from below or top), and an infrared projector to read your touch (at 0:19, you can see the white box below where the infrared projector reside).
4. you would then input your destination, such as "exit number 46" and then it would tell you show you in a 3d view, your path that you need to take in order to get to your destination. (to get to your vehicle, once your done shopping)
A great use for this 3d tech would be for example: is if you were in a sky scraper or in a mall and you were completely lost and you didn't know your way around. You would do the following procedure:
1. You would go to a console located in the building.
2. then once you were at the console.
3. you would then input your current location and then it would pin point exactly where you were in the building based on the console that you are at.
I agree with you but I don't see girls in my area becoming attracted educationally to mathematical/scientific details and concepts.
I see a lot of them taking psycology, philosophy, english, etc. Generally things that are related to comforming, social activities, and similar social interest.
it's for the people who realize that WoW is a really boring game, yet are so addicted to it that they can't stop, so to actually enjoy themselves, they have to play a good game, such as Crysis while they do the mindless grinding in WoW.
The idea is that those kind of processors, you need only one computer in a whole house. You just need to add "terminals" with io devices (like screen and keyboard) to use it. But then, you could have three terminal connected to the same computer when two of them could play a Starcraft 2 skirmish while the other play a blue ray dvd.
Unfortunately, the OS behind it (e.g. windows/linux/os x) doesn't support it. But they will... someday... maybe...
@KawazoeJapan Lolwut? Since when doesn't Linux support multiple users at once? That's pretty much the whole concept of having one central server in the workplace that hosts all the services.
@darkhaxx0r There is no operating system that supports having multiple sessions logged in at the same time and mapping each desktop on separate video output and hardware input devices. You can only be one user at a time using the computer unless you use remote desktop but then, you're pretty much stuck with horrible graphic performances which makes it pointless.
@KawazoeJapan Um, yes, it's called a Virtual Desktop Interface. It's essentially where one server hosts several virtual machines and allows users to remotely interact with them. And it would be relatively easy to modify the infrastructure so that it simply listens for mouse and keyboard input and updates the display accordingly, eliminating the need for redundant CPU power. In fact, I don't doubt such a system is already in use.
@KawazoeJapan Also, it's untrue that only one user can use an operating system at a time. Consider the Android OS, where each application runs simultaneously as a separate user on the operating system, or consider an SSH server where multiple users can run instances of different programs simultaneously.
@darkhaxx0r Dude... Serioursly... Stop... You're not even reading what I wrote. "You can only be one user at a time using the computer UNLESS you use REMOTE DESKTOP but then, you're pretty much stuck with HORRIBLE GRAPHIC PERFORMANCES which makes it pointless." What do you think SSH is?
Besides, you still can't have multiple input devices on androids. The problem is simple, you can only have one application in focus at one time.
@KawazoeJapan Lol, you're going to tell me I didn't even read what you wrote and then completely disregard my other comment? Nice. Read what I wrote about VDI's again: "Um, yes, it's called a Virtual Desktop Interface. It's essentially where one server hosts several virtual machines and allows users to remotely interact with them." The Android and SSH examples were merely used to support my claim that multiple users can interact with an operating system simultaneously.
@darkhaxx0r I disregarded that possibility even before you mentioned it on a performance basis... Also, you still need a fully fledge client to access those VM remotely. You can't do with just a monitor and a keyboard.
if it was out on 2009 now it 2012 and where is this now?

5. Have it printed out or transferred to your handled device, such as the apple iPad.
6. You would then walk through the mall or sky scraper to get to your destination, with your printed information or handled device in your hand.
(please excuse any grammar or misspellings as I do not like typing)
