  • where is part 2?

  • I Love The Video It Can Increase My Knowledge MIT Professor Walter Lewi's Physics 801 Lecture10 Part1

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You MIT Professor Walter Lewi's Physics 801 Lecture10 Part1

  • I Really Like The Video From Your MIT Professor Walter Lewi's Physics 801 Lecture10 Part1

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing MIT Professor Walter Lewi's Physics 801 Lecture10 Part1

  • At my university the physics average is usually around 50. The exceptional students get 90+. 80+ is an A. Because I watched Prof. Lewin's lecture, I easily got an A.

  • excellent

  • @PolskaUrban Yes. Tesla told me.

  • 6:29 "and that's not very nice, of course, to do that to a spring"

Walter Lewis - looking out for springs everywhere since 1966

  • hahaha! nerds at 09:52!

  • after 06:51i just got lost haha :P

  • so meine brüste wachsen

  • Is this college education in the US? In Croatia, we learn this in high school (in gymnasiums)...

  • @SimeVidas1

As far as i'm aware it's first year review.

  • @MattyHild Ah yes, that makes sense.

  • @SimeVidas1 Good for you! MIT is one of the top research universities in the world.

  • @hawkeyerecon I wasn't bragging. I was just surprised. As @MattyHild pointed out, this lecture aprears to be a first year review.

  • @SimeVidas1 there are schools in croatia?

  • Is it sad I'm pushing aside my computer science homework to instead watch this class lecture?

  • How does he do that line?

  • I LOVE physics

  • man, if i had prof like him - i would definately consider physics as major...but the ones i had were dull and boring.

  • I saw this guy on Nova!

  • He is a good teacher right, but why does he teach high school stuffs?

  • Superb! Very exceptional discussion.

  • WTF!? I learned this stuff in my pre-calc class in highschool, and in my college level pre-calc class it was such a simple concept we didn't even go over it in class.

I would imagine all incoming MIT students would know hooke's law, harmonic motion, etc. very well, no? Or are these MIT students not even as smart as my state-college peers? Point being, just because you go to MIT does NOT make you smarter than anyone else

  • I really love these kind of teachers. I will always attend these kind of lectures without coming up with thing like; my granny passed away, I had to go to the dentist etc.

    :D

  • Is there anyone can solve this problem?

Calculate the torsional spring stiffness constant for a steel shaft 0.5" in diameter and 2.5 ft long. Express your result in lbf/rad, and in ft/deg.

    Thx.

  • I agree! What an awesome teacher!!!!!!!

  • the only reason they got a class average of 89 is because they have the best physics teacher on the planet

  • I'm learning to teach Physics and wish to God my tutor made stuff this interesting! I understand it better when Lewi & Feynman (some of the worlds best Physics brains) talk than the way my tutor explains it. I wish I was clever enough to learn this stuff properly!

  • i wish my professor explained in detail like this...i would be getting 95's on my exam too

  • what university is this ?

  • @wiiiissam MIT

  • @wiiiissam Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) USA

  • physics super star .......

  • @masroor45 I have a better teacher than that....Gosine

  • @AFosterBoy : u do ?! who ?

  • banana?

  • That's what I was thinking...

  • @Bootwell 1:15min Looks like a `flat screen banana´

  • @Bootwell It's only for cool people.

  • @Bootwell my thoughts exactly, damn you for stealing my comment lol

  • nice..

  • where is this? Not sounding abusive.

  • First test taken and book still due to arrive>..lol
