  • i love english people in holidays the shout " God save the Quenn!!!" and then they vomit in thechildren's pool :)

  • this may be funny but not everything is true

  • he sounds soo german....

  • you go to germany and all you have are bigots and german guys with big mouths the only time they fight is when they out number you 5 to 1

  • @flakbac U MUST BE AN AFRICAN?

  • hdf du dummer mensch duuuuuuuuuuu

  • I've noticed on the internet that various Europeans, not just Germans, seem to get miffed when an American will comment that "Mom's family was German, Irish, etc." but I think they are misunderstanding that. That American is using that for shorthand to say that his mother's family was of German ancestry, etc., I don't really think he is claiming backdoor German, Irish, etc. citizenship. We mean it as a kind of compliment but for some reason it comes over the exact opposite way.

  • @1276epr I live in america, my family is 50% German and i have traced my fmailies trunk stright back to germany[states and all]. I am a german history buff and i am very patriotic about germany, they should be glad they have fans here in america

  • @SuperTravis898 -all true but they don't presently look at it like that. I think it is just an innocent miscommunication to some degree and also, they are simply not as romantic or emotional about such things as some of us might be. Though nobody returned those CARE packages after the war sent by their distant American cousins and sympathizers, did they.

  • @1276epr My family moved during the hundred year war that left germany ravaged, so I might not have room to talk but ill make some anyway :P. Alot of german ancestry maybe mistaken english ancestry. example, the english commaner got its last name from occupation[or some of them atleast] so these smiths and millers arnt all german, if I ever get the chance to move to germany, unitl then i cant claim much.

  • @SuperTravis898 well no denying their society/institutions generally seem to function better than ours, and seem to encompass more maturity/intelligence. Stereotypes about them die slowly, it seems, but I doubt the validity of most of the stereotypes in the modern era of communication, travel, cultural exchange, etc. I can assure you that they know more about us than most of us know about them. And right-wing parties have NO seats in their Parliament.

  • was für ein spinner...wohl zuviel rohe eier gegessen..

  • haha... lustig! ^^

  • This whole video was based off probably two different Germans. Two of any nationality would differ from the rest. Ignorant video.

  • I´m living in Sweden but the country is going down hill. I wanna migrate to Germany.

  • @kukenimunnen

really? i thougt swedens economy is growing.

  • I never understood why foreigners think germans like rules and regulations (more than others). I certainly don't and I can't think of many germans that do. We might be more likely to *follow* rules if there happens to be rules but that doesn't mean we want/like them.

  • I hate rules and regulations

    greetings from cologne (':

  • okeee well thats kind of not true at all :-P im german !! and all these people in the vid, cant speak english..... but i can ...

  • my moms side of the family is half german and puerto rican and white and french.

my dads side is mexican and spain.

so...do i consider myself german? i hope so

    someone reply ok?

  • @shizsnapple no

  • @r2d23678 Im sorry I misunderstood what my mom told me. The german was actually German DECENT so there isnt even the slightest bit :) well there i guess i answered my own question as well

  • ich gehe zu Deutschland im sommer

  • @SkateShoeReviewer Das ist falsch. Es ist NACH Deutschland, nicht Zu Deutschland.

  • wtf? we're world champions of travel???? O.o really? xD

  • @CMFanxD You can take a drive in any direction to see any country in proximity.

  • omg these people look ugly :D

    häääässlich :D

  • BTW, I've seen a bit of chauvinistic nonsense here, both from Americans and against Americans. This whole "my country is better than your country" mentality is quite stupid, whether one is German, American, a Brit, etc. People are basically the same the world over, and if you don't understand that I feel sorry for you.

  • @Sum1nMD true ;)

  • @Sum1nMD Word! :)

  • @Sum1nMD I agree completely.

  • @Sum1nMD but it's not a shame not to hate the country you come from...

  • I spent 11 years living in Germany, first as an American soldier. At that time I married a beautiful young German woman. After returning to the USA and earning a degree in journalism, I went back there with my wife and lived some 5 1/2 years in Frankfurt and 3 in Darmstandt, editing U.S. Army newspapers. Und ich kann behaupten, dass ich immer noch Deutsche verstehe und spreche, obwohl wir wohnen jetzt in Maryland. Es war eine schoene Zeit damals.

  • @flakbac is that why they invented 99% of everything you use, and America stole 2 million patents before ww1, mmh study history..

  • are u sick?

  • That was funny^-^ Listening to the opinions that people from other countries have about the German culture is really interesting. ;-)

    I'm German, too.

  • 0:36 why are he talking in english ?

    omG

  • So let me get this straight...Germans like rules, lotsa rules. But they don't like to follow them. They like to party, camp, they

drink alota beer, and the men sport big 'ol

    cookie-duster mustaches ( thank christ

it's only the men ) . They wouldn't stand out much around here ( western N.Y.)

  • I love your program- the truth about Germany...its very informative

  • I'm german i don't really like rules ^^

  • isnt deutsch german because i have some deutsch in me

  • yeah it is german ^^

  • @Jordan102896 if you mean 'dutch' instead of 'deustch', it means netherlands not germany... although their pronunciation is almost the same

  • As a German who just recently moved to the States I can say:

I know the Union Lido Camping side!! :D

We never went there though cause its a little pricey and strict.

The only reason to go there is being a beach bum and participate in the Animation programms the campingside offers.

So once I got older (16) I left my family at the beach, took a bus and did some sightseeing..so much better.

  • As a German Resident since 1989, off & on, with spending 4 months in Berlin, Germany, last summer May 10, 2007 -- September 12, 2007, what you say is very true.

There are many rules in Germany, but the whole system seems to work better than other close by countries, which don't have such regulations.

This was also a very funny but good film.

  • ^^.. its true.. but i dobt like the people on a campingsite in germany.^^.. there fat xD.. but im german too.. xD

  • Lol I loved it!

  • Very entertaining and true. I will show this to my students

  • i love euromaxx :P
