Nice to see the coos on grass,here they are in all year.How can you survive with the milk price in allways sunny scotland.We moan over here and we get 40 p a litre.however lots of new sheds going up tractor sales booming.

Allways sunny - I wish !! Coos Won't be on grass for much longer after weeks of non-stop rain Most herds are now inside at night in Ayrshire. The milk price will have to go up soon. We are getting half what the Canadian dairyman is getting ! UK Milk production is at it's lowest for level for 25 years

It;s a Sony HDR- HC5E (Hi-Def ) It records to mini DV tapes. In my opinion recording to DV tapes still produce better quality video than SD or hard drive camcorders

are they all pure holstien??, if so du you not get problems with lameness??

We have started crossingback into freisan x holstein cows, we were getting too much trouble with the inside hoofs of the back legs.

All except a few norway red x holstein. Lameness is a problem. I am breeding some of the more extreme holstein cows back to pure friesian (Tournament and sunshine from cogent)
