I don't think that a two month gap between election day and the inauguration is wise in this day and age. It's too late to do anything now, but it might be time to look into a change which gives us a President by mid-December at the lastest.

The financial system is a joke. If you haven't seen it already, watch Zeitgeist: Addendum and learn about how the monetary system works. This system is bound to fail. Us keeping it afloat only prolongs these hard times. As they say, "We're saving the financial SYSTEM." The system can go under, but we'll still be here. Once the system fails, we bring about a new way of life, whatever that maybe.

I do agree with a new system but I don't agree with what zeitgeist proposes. Personally I don't think its possible. I think a good start would be going back to a silver standard because silver is harder to manipulate then gold. we can work from there.
