thanks man it is a Canon Powershot SX210IS 14 megapixel, 14x optical zoom, 3 inch widescreen. got it in august at bestbuy for 299. i put it on a cheap targus tripod from walmart and try to use a lot of light. the camera only goes up to 720p, which to me is fine for youtube. while i was in bestbuy i saw that logitech has a 1080p webcam for 99 but it records to a computer and i wanted something portable that uses an sd card. if your willing to sacrifice mobility that logitech cant be beat.
