Biggest mistakes on The Regimen

I think this guy is a complete load. I used the Acne.org Regimen for 5 months because I believed this guy's bullshit. Sure, I'm sure a lot of people benefit from the Regimen, but we all have different skin, so it's not going to work for everyone. I use 3 Clean & Clear products: the Continuous Control Acne Cleanser, the Deep Cleaning Astringent, and the 2% Salicylic Acid Spot Treatment. I use the AcneFree Sulfur Mask twice a week, and in the evening I use the Gentle Acne Scrub.

@19kylegreer96 You totally misread the comment. I didn't add anything to Dan's regiment when I was on it. The 3 Clean & Clear products I use are what I use now after I got no effects but dryness and redness for 5 months. I did not use anything while on the Regimen but the Regimen itself and followed all of this guy's advice. Now my face is totally clear without his help. I've made my own regimen. Benzoyl peroxide to leave on is too much, even with a 2.5% concentration.

@123jessy45 U dont need the same products u can buy OTC products but it might be more costly that way esp the BP. I have proactive and use that for the BP treatment and dont use the face wash (but once a week for exfoliating dead skin) and use Cetaphil cleasor and Moitsurizer the key to the program is GENTLE and lOts of BP slowly workin ur way up to higher doses AS tolerated. I been doin thin layers of BP for a month today was the 1st day I really Loaded my skin with it (alot) Im barely dry

@MilesE94 Start slow with the BP, I wud suggest using introducing it into ur skin for a MONTH in small thin layers before U start puttin loads of it on. If its too dry Stop using it for a day and just treat ur skin with Moisturizer to let it heal. Start SLOW. I dont use this REGIME but I use the similar products with 2.5% BP even with a thin layer at 1st I cudnt handle it, so started every other day etc etc, Nothing has to be exact just get the level of BP up their SLOWLY

he has a alpha hydroxy acid one, he doesnt really say its for the treatment of the acne but it has been said that it works. it is 10% glycolic acid.

probably. you might want to wait at least 2 months using the full amount of BP and then use the clarisonic on the lowest/gentle speed (idk - i don't own one) and maybe for about half the time per portion of the face than you regularly do.

if that is too harsh, i say just sell it with a new brush head on ebay or something. haha. or keep it for...whenever!
