@Scabycat yess but titanic was the largest in 1912 (well for about 3 mouths) but it was still more amazing than QM & QE Do Fred Olsen Cruises no that the atlantic has waves hafe the sise of the MS BALMORAL i dont think this ship will last out there (WHAT I MENT MY QM2 IS IT IS MORE SUITABLE FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC IT WAS DESINGED FOR THAT MATTER SHE'S AN OCEAN LINER THE MS BALMORAL IS A CRUSE SHIP A COMPLETLY DIFFRENT SHIP)

@Drummer1Bodhran1 Yes thats true- the QM2 is a TRUE transatlantic ocean liner built especially to weather the worst gales of the north atlantic at high speed. I am sure she will become a legend just like other famous ships have

oh this is the Titanic's 100th Anniversary cruise i kind looks abit small to be crossing the atlantic ocean y not us the Qm2 the largest ocean liner of the 21st century it goes with the titanic the largest ocean liner of the 20th century

@Drummer1Bodhran1 Sorry to be a smart ass but the qm2 has been eclipsed in size by other ships and neither was the Titanic the largest liner of the 20th century . That title goes to RMS Queen Elizabeth

@Drummer1Bodhran1 this is just a 21 days cruise to mediterranean and mainly spanish cities and this is not a titanic route..i know coz i was there holding the pole while soups and food and everything was thrown out by the waves...

I was their when the ship left from port of la Coruna, maybe is just 100meters away thats why you can see the mountain surround the balmoral... NO ONE HURTS DURING THIS CRUISE... THANKS TO GOD.......

@jorodmon Hey jorodmon is it me or does Balmoral seem to be coping with the rough seas so much better than Saga Ruby? I see she has a bulbous bow and probably has her fins out but she doe'nt seem to be pitching as much in what appears to be a much rougher sea. Just a thought. Thanks for posting.

I was thinking of booking for the memorial...but after seeing that, I don`t know...It`s going at the same time as Titanic did, the atlantics pretty rough, I wouldn`t want someone sailing a hundred years from now on my memorial.

It´s a good news, although MS Balmoral bears little resemblance to Titanic but I´m sure that will be a memorable cruise. I´d like to be one of those lucky passengers.

I work on the balmoral and was on board at that time, It wasn't as bad as it looks, and there was no damage to windows or structure, we also went through heavier seas.

that was or is the voyager she was built as a naval design and is not made for waves but speed.

That is not the voyager....it is Balmoral and used to be the Norwegian Crown.....Voyager is a completely different ship.......
