  • This music piece is relaxing don't you think? 500,000 people -give or take- do leave quite a mess. Especially considering the rain messed up what they would have taken back with them. Remember? - there was a 45 minute deluge. A few bulldozers etc came there - no one was mad about it. Notice Earth Day began the following April. All was not lost on this. But Jimi's music here - this piece - is quite smooth and relaxing.

  • @MsKoali, what happened at Woodstock was just a taste of what will happen to all Mankind very soon. But that experience should to pay the price to be just a warning and not a complete reality. As a fact Woodstock will never return. But as a warning to all Mankind Woodstock will never die and will always be present until all Mankind, planetary, accomplish the Human Communion. That's what I think and feel about that magic moment. mis besos ps: sorry my poor English

  • @JasonBorba Blessed are the pure at heart for they will see God.

  • What a beautiful wasteland.

  • this music touch my soul...FUCK YOU

  • Beautiful people who actually went outside played under the stars, moon and sun without a cell phone or laptop attached to thier asses.. as do the pathetic zombie tribe that scrounges about and pollutes our mother earth these daze with all the social media crapola..wait did i just post? ooops.. Have a good day!

  • what song is this?

  • i feel like the clip "long time coming" with them setting up woodstock an all....is the 60s..and this clip is today......don't ask me cuz i can't explain exactly what that means...peace

  • its weird how a lotta bands are studio only, then you come across some Jimi where it seems he was more of a "live" only. so much great stuff not recorded

  • I don't know about all you people ,but it looks like everybody in this woodstock clip treated eating like a chore.Theyr'e all skinnyed-out!I know it was party time and what not through the '60's,got an older brother that grew up in the tail end of the 60's,but what gives?I would have starved to death if I had to go through the 60's;)

  • @PBGSURFER65

You mean they weren't all fat pigs like their kids have become??

  • @TDAForbes No.

  • .. never die..!!

  • he was MILES ahead!!

  • Great video, disappointed in the mess left behind.

  • Dear @bkings1957, excuse my very poor English!

I think that those years were a light and a dream about the Humankind's potential!

Something pure and naive, something that couldn't survive!

I think that all the mess that followed those times only gave us the true ways that we must follow without any illusion!

Now we have plans to conquer the real potential, we know finally how do it - and we will do it soon!

One more time excuse my poor English - The dream will become reality, soon!

  • @JasonBorba Sleepy snail trails have dried.

  • @bkings1957 What, the human mess, don't we do that. That's was up.

  • @bkings1957 Jason, I'm 60, I lived and played with Jimi , Credence, Vanilla Fudge, I'm Tommy and covered many of the greats when they were sick, drunk and could not do it. We lived when you were a baby, and your mommy, was a great mom! It was a time! Your time now....I still have my guitars....Make us all Proud!

  • @bkings1957 humans are a blight on this planet.

  • @bkings1957 when you are high/drunk/both and surfing on the fabric of reality, doing something as mundane as cleaning up rubbish doesn't even cross your mind. Not out of reckless abandon, just because it simply doesnt matter when you are in that mindset.

  • fucking hippies trashing every things

  • whats with the guy with a swastika on his back?????

  • @1KevinsFamousChili1 free speech man. hippies welcomed it.

  • jimi is the man

  • @oldskoolpiledriver Ok!

    Jimi IS the Man!

    You're absolutely right!

    Thanks

  • we like parisites waitin on a can of raid say hello to your mexican buddies then watch them pull away in a better car than you drive

  • the woodstock generation now rules the population yae whats next ain't no love

  • I think this recording really shows how far hendrix had to go at this point still. Listening to this compared to the rainbow bridge concert you can really see how much more comfortable and smoother he got with modal soloing.

  • @ianblackwoodmusic I dont know. I think this is about as fluid and gracefully expressive as guitar gets.

  • @welkerama well it's great don't get me wrong I'm a huge hendrix fan... but there's alot of times he slides in and out of the modality that he's jammin on and he just doesn't seem as confident with it to me as compared to some of his later stuff like the rainbow bridge concert (Hey Baby in particular perhaps)

  • @ianblackwoodmusic he is not slidin out he is just using all the boundaries there are to use maybe you dont understand some of them yet but he was way way ahead musically than most human beeings he would melt sound that you would think would not sound good and stiil make a statement thats why he will always be ! one what he did was blend jazz rock and blues and other cultural things like indian music all together in one may sound out of tune sometim but you get the same in jazz

  • @blackdude57 well it's all just opinion obviously... We can't know how hendrix imagined the song in his mind... but like, at 1:42 he suggests phrygian.....why? he's jammin on dorian for most of the song.... maybe he wanted that sound... maybe it was a flub.... who knows. i personally don't like that phrase and I think his later live material shows him understanding modality better as opposed to just pentatonic blues soloing so i just think he had alot of room to grow still

  • @ianblackwoodmusic Im a music teacher at the local academy and I can teel you non of the graduates can ever never ever imagine whta jimi hendrix is all about when you say dorian and phrygian you sound as some of those academics (no insult0 just a plane comparence its about opening the universe of sounds to every human beeing heaaling the sick and making people feel good thats was Jimi you have a drivers license but you cannot manage a 6 seconds race car thats Jimi hendrix accept it

  • @blackdude57 dont worry about my comments im 54 years old man just do as I told you get a 2000 odd power amp and two stack of 350 watts each turn it on put this soundtrack on and sit in the middle of it and enjoy it

  • @ianblackwoodmusic this was only a jam at the end of woodstock he was the last band and they were very tired they went up at sunrise and he closed the damn shit after waiting for 2 days in a leaking car in the rain they were not millionares then he was just a good musician at that time and he was just flowing with that moment

  • @blackdude57 you guys are all arguing over a totally different topic...... i never said it's not a nice jam. i never said i wouldn't rather hear hendrix pouring out his soul on a jam than some technically perfect and usually boring as hell guitar solo. just said i thought there was obvious room that he grew between this and later stuff. i don't know why you seem so offended that hendrix go tbetter over time. i just thought it was interesting how much he grew in such a short time

  • @ianblackwoodmusic I just listened to 1:42 eight times. It's badass!

  • @blackdude57 ... but it's all just personal opinion and speculation obviously... i didn't mean my comment as a dig at hendrix. i fucking love hendrix

  • @ianblackwoodmusic Jimi surpassed all modalities and rules the talking rule the playing rule the gesture rule and the stage rule remember he burned a guitar onstage man and broke it in pieces threw it to the public who had done that before so now he slides out of phrygian and enters Pussy you have to admire him for that

  • @welkerama Yes! Excuse my poor English.

Something spiritualistic that we don't find today!

Something that unites body, art, soul and the unique moment in the life with the guitar!

    It was this!

    The One!

  • Cerdoooooooossssssssssss!!!!!

Rejunten el desmadre que dejaron cabrones.....

  • just sit back and enjoy

  • The song is outstanding. The producer's choice of showing people slugging through the mud cleaning up garbage as opposed to showing Jimi playing the song? That's idiotic.

  • Always loved this guitar masterpiece.Man, i still get chills after all these years. R.I.P. Jimi

  • This isnt the last song... He plays Hey Joe after this

  • How is this the illuminati?? It's just a guy with a Buddhists symbol on it I see nothing about them

  • what a joke woodstock was a real tribute to a worthless generation

  • @atfatw yea dude, you totallly nailed it. like woah your right. all of those thousands of people all listening to music for days with no problems. no violence, no homocide, no nothing. yea they didnt change the world or anything. damn.......dude you are soo cool for insulting a peice of history that changed the world. sick bro.

  • THE Weed what we shouldent find there

  • 0:15 dirty fucking nazi

  • @DemyKCTMcFlyelele si bastardo chupa verga is like you.HEIL HENDRIX

  • IF YOU CHECK OUT THE JACKET IN THE BEGINNING, IT REVEALS THAT WOODSTOCK IS A BIG LIE.

    WOODSTOCK IS AN ILLUMINATI GATHERING!

THE JACKET HAD A NAZI SYMBOL, THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO LET YOU KNOW THAT IT WAS AN ALL WHITE PARTY FOR WHITE SUPREMECISTS.

IT'S ALL TOO OBVIOUS THAT WOODSTOCK WAS A FAILED ATTEMPT BY SCUM AND SLIME DRUGLORDS. DON'T BELIEVE A WORD ABOUT WOODSTUCK, ALWAYS SECOND GUESS ANYTHING U HEAR ABOUT WOODSTUOCK, IT'S ALL A LIE, A BRAINWASHING TOOL, DRUGS R BAD, BUT LEGALIZE WEED!

  • @LeComteDeVersaille That "Nazi" symbol, if you notice, is kinda backwords :\

  • @SKat036 AND THE WIND CRIES MARIA. FUCK THE NAZIS. :/

  • @LeComteDeVersaille not the nazi symbol

  • @LeComteDeVersaille thats actually the buddhist symbol for reincarnation, you illitarete motherfucker

  • @Derdadortiwo FUCK ME! I'M NOT INTO YOUR BRAINWASHING. IT'S REALLY A SWASTIKA, NAZI SYMBOL, A SYMBOL NOTORIOUS FOR POWER CRAZED LUNATICS. BUDDHIST YOUR FACE DUDE

  • @LeComteDeVersaille i dont fuck idiots, sry. try to do some research you fag

  • @Derdadortiwo U R WHAT YOU SAY THAT I AM.

THE BIGGEST IMPACT OF NAZIS UPON THIS PLANET IS NOT PAIN OR HATE OR TORTURE, WHICH R THE THREE OTHER BIGGEST INFLUENCES OF NAZIS, BUT THE MOST INFLUENTIAL THING THAT NAZIS DO IS MAKE GARBAGE AND TRASH. THE NAZI FATE IS ON A PATH OF TRASH TO THE FUCKIN TRASH DUMP. I'LL FUCKIN DUMP YOU FAGOT

  • @LeComteDeVersaille dude, look it up, its not the nazi sign, turn caps off, get a life. peace

  • @Derdadortiwo FOR INSTANCE, IF SOMEONE WRITES A BACKWARDS ?, YOU'D GET THE PICTURE.

IT'S OBVIOUS TO ME THAT U R ON THE CUTTING EDGE OF BRAINWASHING. IT'S ALL TO OBVIOUS THAT WOODSTOCK IS A POWER-TOOL IN THE FORM OF BRAINWASHING FOR A GROUP OF WHITE SUPREMECISTS.

WHAT YOU SAY LEADS PEOPLE ASTRAY, AND THEIR MIND IS FILLED WITH INVALID AGREEMENTS TO UNREALITIES. U AND URS COULD EASILY BRING THE WORLD OF SCI-FI ZOMBIES TO EARTH IN A REALITY.

BUT FINALLY, MY VIEWPOINT ON WOODSTOCK IS INCONSEQUENTIAL

  • @LeComteDeVersaille im not a fucking nazi, you dumb fuck! i think that the people that went to woodstock actually wanted to change something. you and ignorant scum like you should start getting themselves some culture, because if you cant distinguish a svastica from one of the most important symbols in buddhist and sintoist religion, you are an asshole who doesnt know shit, but still pretends to be intelligent

  • @Derdadortiwo IT'S FUNNY THAT U R STILL TALKING ABOUT THIS SHIT. IT'S LIKE WHO CARES, I DON'T KNOW ANY HIPPIES AND I FEEL SAFER FOR THAT FACT. FUCK THE NAZIS BITCH, FUCK THE NAZIS. U R RETARDED FOR THE FACT THAT YOU INSIST SO HARD THAT THE SWASTIKA IS A FUCKIN BUDDHIST SYMBOL. HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THE THE BUDDHISTS R DANGEROUS TOO, AND NAZIS AND BUDDHISTS ARE RELATED? NOW U R THINKING THAT I'M TRYING TO SAY THAT NAZIS AND BUDDHISTS COMINGLE, IT WAS A QUESTION, JUST LIKE THAT SHIT

  • @danslatente villanova junction is the name

  • @danslatente yes it is this song villanova junction and pali gap

  • This video does not deserve a single dislike! I am so glad noone dislikes this video at the time of this comment (some @sshole will probably dislike it at some point)

Jimi Hendrix was the most emotional guitarist that ever was and inspired more people covering more genres than any other guitarist!

  • @alaxyoung1 no

  • @alaxyoung1 que te follen perra

  • @alaxyoung1 how could the concert fuck up a generation?? lol

  • @alaxyoung1 You mean the concert that comprised enough people to be considered the second largest city in New York state for three days and yet there were no acts of violence or homicides despite all the hunger, mud, rain etc? What a fucked up bunch of people they were. Now take a look at all the succeeding Woodstocks that took place in the 90s. Who's the fucked up generation?

  • @xxdrew333xxx Well said dude! well said indeed.

  • @xxdrew333xxx Yeah nowadays it's fashionanble to be a psychopath. girls look up to them like oh my gaawd !!! Pussies. I step on you

  • @xxdrew333xxx the only reason there was no violence was cus they were too high to fight

  • @alaxyoung1 most of the people who attended woodstock are fairly normal and valuable members of todays society. so fuck off you ignorant prick.
