Secondly, I have some tips for the Snake user if he wants to read them:

I noticed you didn't use your downsmash too much--it might help out a lot, especially against a player that's quicker. I also try to use the sidesmash only if I'm absolutely sure it will hit--although I saw one of your matches against a Marth, and you executed it perfectly! Oh, and try the mortar slide a bit more--if you get close enough, it will also hurl the opponent into the air.

1. For horizontal recovery always use your Side+B instead of you Up+B

Man, I hate when people leave comments about how a certain character is the 'best'. Sure, in Melee you had an obvious difference between characters, but in Brawl, that has changed considerably. The characters now in Brawl are much more balanced as far as I can tell. I watched the two tournaments from SF and LA and 2 of the last 4 characters were Yoshi and Kirby. You don't hear those names pop up too often. And the kirby won out against Ike! I'm saying that it's all based on character skill.

Brawl doesn't have "slower physics". It's a quicker combat system then Melee is. Anyway, Shiek, like every other fighter, looks as though her moves flow even more impressively. As for button bashing, in Melee you /needed/ to combine attacks because her moves were way too weak alone. In fact, I've never met a SSBros player who prevailed by mashing with any character, unless by luck on quirky stages or with items. It tends to happen in SSB games, which is one of the reasons they're cool.

People are actually complaining about Shiek getting "nerfed"? She might not have any super kill moves, nor chain-grabs, but the rest of her remains good. They even look to have IMPROVED her Ftilt. And possibly needing to actually use Zelda, rather than doing the entire match as Shiek, is bad? I'm glad there's incentive to use both, they aren't seperate characters.

The Nikita "drop" on the ledge seems very ineffective, yet he keeps doing it... I've seen it work once. In 3 vids.
