They really did a great job in selecting the actors for the RL version, very very well done. Even the side characters were well chosen. Its too bad they didnt further the development of the anime, it couldve easily have gotten at least... 4 seasons, given the right writers. But its not even about the anime, the movie was generally well done and written. Although certain characters couldve been rechosen but, what can you do?

HOOLLY HELL. When I found out about this I thought it'd be a crappy live action, but DAMN did they do the anime GOOD. The characters and their traits are on the ball (especially Chiba LOL) and so are the props. The only problem I found was that Kyoto was a bit shitty compared to his anime self. But that's exceptional because the guy voicing and the guy playing are two different people; it's hard to find a matching character thats also a good guitarist. I'm glad they didn't make that sacrifice.
