It's obviously (if you think of it this way) a WAR song. THink about this, this was written in the days of the Desert Storm thing. (I wasn't born then, but who knows...)

First of all, their instrumentals are great, and you might like it or not; taste in music, each person has one. 2, their lyrics are often metaphors and are ment for interpretation of the listener. Les in my opinion is more of a guitarist than Larry. no offense to Larry, but the way Primus is, they've reversed rolls. Les is more of a lead player/guitarist while Larry seems to take more "bass line" riffs, but that's why I love Primus. what with being a bass player it give the bass a little more spotlight which I feel doesn't happen enough. they're both incredible musicians
