Hey, great lesson but I have an idea for a lesson I would hope you elaborate on in a video. There is a ton on examples on youtube and the internet that give examples how to play turnarounds, but hardly any explain how the theory behind how they are constructed. Instead of having to memorize tons of other peoples turnarounds, I would like to create my own so that I feel more free. Can you tell us about what chords or chord tones turnarounds usually descend or ascend through.
The basic framework of a blues turnaround rests on this foundation, which occurs at measures 11 and 12 in a standard 12 bar Blues arrangement: 1.) Measure 11: You arrive at the 1-chord after descending from the 5 and the 4 (say, E, after the B and the A). 2.) You play the 1 (E) for 2 beats, roll to the 4 (A) for 2 beats, 3.) Measure 12: Return to 1 (E) for 2 beats and hit the 5 (B) for 2 beats. Then you're "turned around" and ready to start at Measure 1 with Chord 1 (E). It's all about that
So good dude, sweet

I agree with nickgolf511. Since I can see the fingering and hear your explanation, it makes the tab easier to read.
