  • Rip James Honeyman Scott and Robert Palmer :(

  • I saw him at the Half Shell in Boston on the Charles River out doors. It was mobbed. 70's ? I don't even know what year it was. What a Loss to the music world---One class act...

  • tremendous artist! we were so fortunate to meet Robert, short before he passed. It was in Dallas (courtesy of his Cuban bass player -sorry hermano se me olvido tu nombre!) He was very kind, he impressed me as a good person and a gentleman. I truly think he was underrated, he was a great musician and with a unique voice...:(

  • This is such a bittersweet song, made even more so with the passing of the inimitable Robert Palmer. His rendition is a nice departure from the Pretenders version and I love that his voice seems a bit higher than usual. He was such a multi-talented performer, far ahead of his time in many instances and often overlooked for the genius that he was (if you doubt this, look at and listen to his extensive, varied discography). Sleep well now, dear Robert, a prince among men. ❤♫•*¨*•.¸¸❤♪♫•*¨*•☆♫♫

  • when did robert palmer die?sorry to hear if he did.

  • Ditto......

  • Wow, this is great! Thanks for posting. I miss him so (RIP)!

  • Wonderful voice--so calm and expressive.

  • Bobby...great blue-eyed soul singer! miss him no doubt.

  • RP RIP

  • I love The Pretenders original better but I really like this version. Nice that he did it in his own style that he did not try to copy it exactly like The Pretenders original. He did have a unique style. Thanks for posting this.

  • he sings it really well..

  • Thanks for posting.
