THE CURE The Blood (Ultra rare Spanish-only 7" from 1986 b/w Six Different Ways. This unique single was only issued in Spain, and it's believed that just 300-400 copies were made and used for promotion instead of being commercially released. The superb sleeve is made from textured paper stock, and features a red guitar image. The back shows a brief 'Discografia' - A rare copy of what is undoubtedly their rarest vinyl single!) 7" vinyl £ 650 (what is it selling for)
I have NEVER seen this video before and I think is REALLY good!!. Glad I can see Cure videos again on youtube because I don't like connecting my dvd player :-/
i'm guessing this was a brazilian promo video??? i know this was released as a single there...i think. or it may be a user-made video?? where did it come from?
The song is not included in any of their albums. However, the song was a hit in the mid-late eighties and very much played in certains discos. Maybe you are too young to remember it ;)
I agree that this is not an actual video.......I think it's just something Univeral put together....this song is one of the best on that album though. As if "album" doesn't date me enough LOL
Ok I was terribly wrong, yes the song is on Head on the door album.... where it's not, it's on the video compilation "staring at the sea - the singles". I knew it wasn't somewhere ;)
I doubt this is an official Cure video but it could/should be as it's just brilliant in all it's simplicity.

Is this an official video? Despite if it is or not, "The Blood" was worth of being released as a single. Very uncommon song for The Cure.

the head on the door album is expensive >:( i want to buy it but its like 35 dlls. and for example deintegration i bought it for like 10dlls.
1k1ll3rp0ll0 2 years ago
it has nothing to do with mexico -_- its an spanish dance and rythm.
if you know, Mexico got conquered by spain and that is why Mexico is similar to Spain but as Mexico got independence from Spain, they are not the same

this song is on Head on the Door. I've dont think this is an official video cuz it's not on their compilation VHS released in 86.
Flamenco dancing and Catholic imagery is a WAY too obvious visual choice and I doubt RS was behind it, besides he's not in the vid.
