  • I doubt this is an official Cure video but it could/should be as it's just brilliant in all it's simplicity.

  • how is this possible, that i havent heard this song yet?

Umm, somehow to hear such song from the cure is kind a weird..

  • weird song, love it, love the cure

  • 1985.

  • yeaaahhhhh saludos desde españa

  • What Year is the song from, does anbody know??

  • Wow I never knew "The Blood" was a single!! It is one of my Head on the Door tracks!! Probably my very favorite!!

  • este é demais

  • great! booo!

  • Is this an official video? Despite if it is or not, "The Blood" was worth of being released as a single. Very uncommon song for The Cure.

  • Very Spanglish!!!!!!1

  • Love the Spanish influence!

  • Great upload man !

  • this is not the original music video, this song doesnt have music video

  • THE CURE The Blood (Ultra rare Spanish-only 7" from 1986 b/w Six Different Ways. This unique single was only issued in Spain, and it's believed that just 300-400 copies were made and used for promotion instead of being commercially released. The superb sleeve is made from textured paper stock, and features a red guitar image. The back shows a brief 'Discografia' - A rare copy of what is undoubtedly their rarest vinyl single!) 7" vinyl £ 650 (what is it selling for)

  • Really? Because I have that song on my CD - Head In the Door.

  • yes i know that The Blood is from Head on the Door. but The Blood was released as promo single ages ago in Spain

  • isn't this off of the UniversalMusicGroup though?...

  • I hate this video. The Cure should've at least been in it.

  • saludos de WISDOM WEED

    (new on zou tube)

  • is it me or does that flamenco dancer look like siouxsie sioux?

  • I have NEVER seen this video before and I think is REALLY good!!. Glad I can see Cure videos again on youtube because I don't like connecting my dvd player :-/

  • This video ruined the song lol.

  • Mexico????

It's an spaniard music, flamenco. Spaniard from Spain. Do you know where is Spain?

  • Me gusto mucho :) Robert Smith is win :)

  • this is a pretty badass song for the cure

  • the head on the door album is expensive >:( i want to buy it but its like 35 dlls. and for example deintegration i bought it for like 10dlls.

  • it has nothing to do with mexico -_- its an spanish dance and rythm.

if you know, Mexico got conquered by spain and that is why Mexico is similar to Spain but as Mexico got independence from Spain, they are not the same

  • the cure need to be in the fucking video... fuck universal!

  • Very cool twist on a brilliant song.

  • i'm guessing this was a brazilian promo video??? i know this was released as a single there...i think. or it may be a user-made video?? where did it come from?

  • in any case spanish not brazilian, they are dancing flamenco abd there are some flamenco patterns in the song, also

  • I have been a devoted Cure fan for 4 1/2 years and did not know that this video existed until now!

  • The song is not included in any of their albums. However, the song was a hit in the mid-late eighties and very much played in certains discos. Maybe you are too young to remember it ;)

  • 'The Blood' is from 'The Head On The Door' album. Of course I know the song, I just didn't know there was a music video for it.

  • yeah i didn't know there was a music video for it either!

  • this song is on Head on the Door. I've dont think this is an official video cuz it's not on their compilation VHS released in 86.

Flamenco dancing and Catholic imagery is a WAY too obvious visual choice and I doubt RS was behind it, besides he's not in the vid.

  • I agree that this is not an actual video.......I think it's just something Univeral put together....this song is one of the best on that album though. As if "album" doesn't date me enough LOL

  • Yes.........it was on Head on the Door

  • Ok I was terribly wrong, yes the song is on Head on the door album.... where it's not, it's on the video compilation "staring at the sea - the singles". I knew it wasn't somewhere ;)

    culeeeeeeeeeeeeeerooo !!

  • Este vídeo es oficial?

  • Si,esta un poco raro pero si.

  • nel se me hace q es hechizo

  • Tell me who doesn't love what can never come back...you can never forget how it used to feel...

  • The guitar in this song is incredible.

  • Whoa a video of this song that I didn't know of?

    Thank you for uploading!

  • Such a classic!

  • The Blood is my favorite of all time. Robert's musical genius really shows off.

  • I love love love Head on the Door!! Its an amazing album!!

  • a rare video not yet released on any of the home video collections I'll give another point back to universalmusicgroup for putting this video up

  • OH! such a song - thank you for posting :)

  • Very true.. just wish their posts didn't have the YOUTUBE spam in them and weren't encoded so badly.

  • one of my favorites by the cure-excellent lyrics and vibe

  • Wow, beautiful and creepy at the same time. I do like it though.

  • the best!!

  • tell me who doesn't love

    what can never come back
