@ALeonardoA116 There are a lot of "male" covers of songs out there too. It's not uncommon to see it specified that way when the original singer is the opposite sex of the person who is covering. Sometimes people search for a male or female specific cover (for learning purposes perhaps)--and that's it. It's not really about "empowerment".
