You're actually playing what Josh is playing well sort of, the intro was wrong because if you watch taylor in live shows hes following the lead guitar riff using the 3 highest strings & he uses delay for the verses.

Actually, no, Taylor is playing the lead, not following it. Josh plays rhythm in the intro. And I played Taylor's part in the first part of the verses, cuz I didn't have a clue what Josh played :P

I could hear the clacking of your strings but not really your amp. You appear to be playing it (kind of) right based on your hand positions. You should try just picking the notes thought instead of strumming them during the "Ignorance is your new best friend" riff. Strumming and muting strings like that tends to sound sloppy.

@Sp3ci41K Thanks! And about the muting, you can't get the right sound if you pick them. It's supposed to sound real chuggy, if you check liveversions of Paramore you'll see their guitarist does it too. And you actually can hear my guitar but it sorta blends in somehow, I dunno why. But listen to the album and then this, you'll hear the guitar is not this loud on the album =)

aw man im glad youre not the only one like me who studys videos. you got nailed the intro/chorus. iplay it the same. um youre playing taylors part right except on the second verse he goes higher one note on the the 3rd palm muted note . joshs part during the palm muteing is his chords palm muted in a 1,2,3 ... 2,3,2.. 1,2,3 pattern. 1 being your index finger and so on.. . probably makes no sense sorry ha. i dont speak the whole tab talk . im an ear person

good live cover you cold pull that off on stage. but im pretty sure josh has it in drop d tuning on the studio version, but live he plays it standard tuned 1/2 step down because of taylors tuning

I sent the verses to you but I'm not sure if they're right. It's in drop d tuning even though he plays it in standard. It's the right notes but it's not in the same position. I've been trying to watch videos but they always show someone else when he's doing the verses lol.
